Chapter 45

Flavia ran out of her bedroom when she heard the crash from the dragon nests. She looked out of a window and saw Meliorna soaring towards... Sana and Aku... What? They were obscured by some trees talking to one of the sirens. Jin. What was going on? Aku hugged Jin and helped Sana onto Meliorna. As she watched, Bailey crawled out of her coat pocket and climbed onto Flavia's shoulder. Cal joined her at the winow.

"What's going on?" cal asked.

"Aku and Sana are running away," Flavia said quietly.

"Why?" Cal asked.

"I'm not sure," Flavia replied.

"And who's the one that climbed into the trapdoor?" Cal asked.

"Jin, he was helping them get out," Flavia watched as Meliorna flying away. Flavia decided to not tell the other sirens about what Jin had done. not because she wanted to Protect him. No. She didn't care about him. She wanted to see how this played out.

"Don't tell anyone about Jin ok?" Flavia said. Cal nodded even though he looked confused.

"Let's get the Sirens to explain what's actually hapening," Cal said desicivly.

"Yeah," Flavia agreed. They went down to the dining hall that RM had shown them on their way to the luxurious bedrooms yesterday. They waited there for the boys to come for breakfast. Suga came first. He barely glanced at Flavia and Cal before sitting down and digging into a pastry. The other Sirens came in together, except for Jin. He was no where to be seen.

"Where did Aku and Sana go, and why did they leave," Flavia questioned. RM looked at her and nodded. Jungkook started humming in the backround.

"Those two are traitors. They are in league with the old gods. Aku only brought you two here so she could lure you into her trap. Sana is just as bad. We think she has already infiltrated Amara and Kilorn. Don't worry though, we'll protect you two," RM's voice was so smooth. Flavia and Cal nodded along to his every syllable. They had to agree. How could they not?
