Amara screamed as the giant lifted her up into the air by her hair. The giant chortled. Kilorn tried desperatly to free his foot. The ice wasn't budging. No matter how hard he scraped at it with his claws, it didn't even leave a scratch. He shifted out of his Verum but instead of freeing his leg it made it worse. The ice expanded around his foot.

"Tiny creatures, this is a game to me. I will take you to the Sirens and they will force you both to go up against the old gods. From what I've seen here, you don't have much hope. Maybe I will fight by your side. Although it would ultimatly be funnier to just watch you get killed," The giant laughed manickly.

Amara screamed. Kilorn's skin was splitting from his efforts to free himself. The giant slowly shrunk until he was a modest seven feet. Giants were supposed to be extinct too but at this stage Amara and Kilorn had given up on trying to keep track of which species were dead and which were alive.

"If I let you go, you have to promise that you won't try to run away," The giant spoke to Amara. She let an anguished "lemmegorightnow". The giant, satisfied with this response, let Amara go by dropping her roughly on the ground. Amara immediatly ran towards Kilorn.

"Kil," Amara sobbed, clutching onto Kilorn's chest. Kilorn realised this was the first time he had seen her cry. Parts of her scalp were bloody and she was missing chunks of hair.

"Awwww, I ship it," The giant looked at you... er I mean... uhh... The giant looked at a ramdom tree in a random direction... cough... fourth... cough... wall breaking... cough cough.

"You monster," Kilorn muttered under his breath.

"You wanna say that to my face. PUNK????" The giant snapped his head around to face Kilorn.

"YOU MONSTER!!!" Kilorn screamed at the top of his lungs. The giant lifted his hands and a gargantuan battleaxe appeared out of nowhere.

"Leave the poor boy... hasn't he gone through enough?" A mysterious female voice echoed casually.

"Ughh, Maycy, why do you always have to ruin my fun?" The giant groaned.

"Now now Erik, you shouldn't call this fun. This is business and we should treat these people with respect. Besides, didn't Grass tell us to be extra nice to the boy?" A rather large unicorn appeared out into the clearing. She was white with a pearlescent horn.

"I guess," Erik lowered his hand and both the battleaxe and the ice wall disappeared. Kilorn gasped in relief and clutched his leg.

" My My, we can't be having that," Maycy trotted over to Amara and Kilorn and tapped her horn off Amara's head. the skin healed and the hair regrew in a matter of seconds. She did the same for Kilorn.

"It's getting dark, I suppose we should take our guests to the camp," Maycy said happily.
