Sana managed to hold down her stomach matter long enough to point at the door that Amara and Kilorn resided in. Then she stepped outside and promptly vomited. Aku opened the door and walked in. Amara and Kilorn wer in bed. Together.
I guess they made it official then Aku thought. She walked over to the bed and shook the pair awake. Amara woke up quickly and looked Aku dead in the eyes.
"It's not what it looks like," Amara exclaimed.
"Oh yeah? Why is Sana out there vomiting after taking a peek in Kilorns's mind?" Aku retorted.
"Shut up," Kilorn muttered.
"No, you shut up, we need to get out of here," Aku said urgently.
"Ok, we'll be out in a minute," Amara said.
"We don't have a minute,'' Aku said.
"We'll be out in a minute," Amara said, more forcefully.
"Oh... ok, I'll wait outside," Aku resigned. A minute later they were standing outside, climbing onto thier dragons. Amara on Reinn, Kilorn on Grass and Aku and Sana on Meliorna. They flew a few miles just to get a safe distance from any persuers. They landed in a clearing in the trees.
"Oh, yeah, have you guys missed Beyorn and Aria?" Aku asked.
"YES!!" Amara said.
"I'VE BEEN SO WORRIED," Kilorn exclaimed.
"Well, look what I brought," Aku said, pulling the two animals out of Meliorna's saddle bags. Aria spun in the air trying to get her bearings. Beyorn ran straight to Kilorn and nuzzled against his shins until Kilorn kneeled down to give him a rub. Aria spotted Amara and did a nosedive straight at her face. The small animal's claws dug into Amara's shoulders but she didn't really care
"Oh, yeah, don't think I forgot about my promise to you," Aku said to Sana, pulling a small, round, green stone out of a pocket in the right saddle bag.
"what's this?" Sana asked.
"It's a calling stone. Focus on the energy inside it. I've already bonded it to you so no one else can use it without your permission," Aku explained. Sana closed her eyes and the stone started to glow. A creature the same size as Aria shot out of the stone in a beam of light.
It looked around and spotted Sana. Then it waddled over to her. Sana took a step back in shock and so did the small creature. They then slowly approached eachother.
"Pidge," Sana said descicivly. Pidge stumbled over her own feet and landed face-first in the dirt. Sana picked her up and brushed the dirt off her fur.
