Amara and Kilorn awoke tied to each other, again. The memories of the day before came flooding back as Kilorn shook dust out his hair. He had gotten a few decent hits in. He smiled at the thought. Amara had looked so impressed. They fought well as a team. Now, they couldn't do much fighting, what with being tied up in a locked cell and all. Amara was starting to wake up. They had their hands and feet tied but only the rope around their hands connected the two of them. Amara opened her eyes and blinked a few times.

"Ughhh, are we seriously tied up again?" Amara said, looking down at the rope binding them.

"Yup," Kilorn said, curtly.

"Ahh, so the two lovebirds are awake, I thought I heard something,"  Erik boomed from outside the door, the only escape.

"YOU MONSTER, I HOPE YOUR INSANITY KILLS YOU!" Amara spat through a small grate, probably for food. Erik opened a hatch near the top of the door and smiled at Amara.

"Honey, I don't suffer from my insanity, I enjoy every second of it," Erik said, "And if you want those ropes off, I suggest you have more respect," He continued.

"Can you please untie us?" Kilorn piped up.

"Of course," Erik said sweetly. The frost giant put his armoured arm through the slot and gestured for Kilorn to give him his hand. Kilorn obliged. A shard of ice shot from Erik's hand and split the ropes apart. As it retracted back into Erik's hand, it sliced into the side of Amara's wrist, making her cry out.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Amara shouted.

"You were rude to me," Erik shrugged, pulling his arm back out. "Now, say thank you,"

"No way am I thanking you," Amara said, angrily.

"Will you never learn?" Erik sighed. He gestured with his hand and a spear made of ice, shot out of the ground and pressed into Amara's throat. Her eyes widened.

"Ama, just say thanks," Kilorn said with a shaky voice.

"No. Way," Amara spat.

"Alright then," Erik said and waved his arm again.
