Amara, still weak let Reinn lift her onto his scaly back. She got comfortable and let Reinn take her to the portal.
"We're almost th- wait is... is that who I think it is?" Reinn twisted his head twoards the ground.
"Is that who?" Amara said, looking up from the dragon's neck, she didn't see anything though.
"Grass, this dragon I looked after for a while, got kicked out by their family," Reinn said, angling his wings down.
"I can't see anyone," Amara said, looking harder.
"They're hiding, or sleeping, could be either," Reinn said, happiness in his silky smooth voice.
Reinn landed next to a small pink flower and a pair of branches protuding from the ground. He used two claws to gently tug the flower. The flower suddenly shot up out of the ground,attached to a green tail and started beating the ground. Then a small, green dragon's head slowly rose out of the ground. The green dragon looked to be about half the size of Reinn, now that the back and shoulders were visible.

Grass rose fully out of the earth and Amara saw a muddy-looking human clinging to their neck. He stood up and shook himself off. Amara recognised him as soon as he turned to face her. It was Kilorn! Amara ran at him and ended up knocking him over. They lay on the ground, grinning like idiots. They were both muddy messes now. Grass looked over to Reinn hapily.
"It's been too long, why didn't you come visit me?" Reinn said, grinning and looking happier than Amara had seen him in the three days that she had seen. Amara was happier than she herself had been since she had gotten Kilorn back from that government facility.
"I was busy," Grass said curtly.
"Too busy to visit me?" Reinn said in mock disgust.
"I'm a very busy Grass," Grass grinned.
"Alright fine, just dont let it go this long again," Reinn resigned.
Amara and Kilorn didn't move. Pure bliss. Everything was good.
