The ground swayed beneath Amara's feet. Then suddenly the ground rose to meet her face.
"WHAT ARE YOU??" Reinn exclaimed.
"I'm a shapeshifter," Amara confessed.
"Wait. So that means that you're from.." Reinn said, apalled.
"Why do you hate our dimension anyway,"Amara muttered, weakly standing up.
"You know nothing of our history," Reinn realised
"No one knows anything that happened before Pancake Day,"
"Thats because your dimension needed to forget. Both of our dimensions were forced to forget something. It was the cost of the war. your dimension got to keep your magic. Our dimension got to keep our history," Reinn divulged
"The war?" Amara asked.
"An all-species war. There were three sides. Those on the God's side, Those on the rebels side and the Pacifists. We were fighting for freedom. The Humanoid species's fought to regain control. They were working for the gods. The gods that had enslaved us for thousands of years. Only Elder members of each species know exactly what the gods did to us. If the pacifist Animos's hadn't created seperate dimensions for each side, we would've destroyed eachother,'' Reinn explained.
"So wait, we both just forgot," Amara was confused.
"The Animos's erased the memories,"
"And, did there used to be only one dimension?" Amara asked, starting to recover her energy.
''Yup," Reinn replied. "Now, show me the air magic,"
Amara nodded and summoned a small whirlwind in her hand. Reinn looked shocked. Amara felt a grin spread across her face.
"Show me more," Reinn was getting more excited by the second. Amara almost forgot he was a dragon.
"After you help me find my friends," Amara said.
"Friends... wait... Amara... do you know Aku Fierro,"
"Yes,'' Amara said excitedly.
"Is she still alive??" Reinn looked worried.
"Yeah," Amara "She was pretty banged up though, do you know what happened to her?"
"Yeah, we all do. She was tortured for a month in front of the whole City of Scales,"Reinn said.
