Chapter 24

I woke up and had a shower. I put on a crop top and shorts. Today, I was going shopping with Ty and Ari. I was excited. Tyler said he had saved up for ages just so he can spoil Ariana. Ariana had not been spoilt before. She's always suffered the consequences from her mother not putting her first and I truly feel for her.

I left my hair down even though I really wanted to put it up in a ponytail. I plaited the front bits of hair and clipped them back so that they were away from my face. I put on my trainers and headed downstairs.

I went to the kitchen to eat breakfast. Mum made eggs and toast. I sat down next to Lilly and she placed a plate in front of me.

"The doctor called, he's rearranged your radiotherapy, it's tomorrow," she said.

"Tomorrow!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, is that too soon for you Lex?" She asked.

"It is but I just have to get it over and done with," I said.

"I'll be with you, don't worry," Mum said.

"I'm coming as well," Lilly said.

"And me!" Ryan exclaimed.

"I'll take a day off work and come," John said.

"Seriously guys, it's okay, I'm sure I'll manage," I said.

"I think Alexa would be fine without you all and I think you should go to work, John," she said.

"I'm still coming," Lilly exclaimed.

Mum gave me £120 to go shopping. I told her that I only needed about £30 but she insisted. I hugged her and I heard a car beep outside. Tyler was here. I said bye to everyone and left. I grabbed my bag and put the money inside my purse that was inside the bag. I sat in his car at the front.

"Hi Lex," Ariana said.

"Hi Ari," I replied.

"You all set to go?" Tyler asked.

I nodded and he began to drive. When a song came on the radio that we knew, we sang along tunelessly. After ages of driving, Tyler parked in a parking station and we headed into the shopping centre. The shopping centre was huge and I had never been to it before.

We went to a clothes store first to try to find Ariana some clothes that she wanted. She found a pair of pink dungarees and top that had 'unicorn' printed on in big writing. I was going to pay for it but Tyler stopped me and he ended up paying.

"Where next?" Tyler asked.

"We have to go River Island, the clothes there are so nice," I told him as I pointed to the shop which was opposite us.

We went in and I showed Ariana some cute outfits that would look gorgeous on her. They had really nice clothes there. She wanted to buy them all.

"Tyler, I don't want you to waste your money," she said.

"I saved up for you to waste it, don't worry plus I've got plenty of money, I doubt you could waste it," Tyler said.

Tyler took the clothes she wanted and headed to the till whilst I looked for clothes for myself. I bought a strap dress along with a silk striped jumpsuit and a white crop top. I found a pair of block heel sandals and I took them to the till as well. I paid for everything and headed out. Tyler and Ariana were waiting outside for me.

Tyler bought some clothes as well and we continued shopping for the next couple of hours. Ariana said that she was hungry so we went to Pizza Hut and sat in. We ordered two pizzas along with drinks and chips. We continued shopping after we ate and I bought Mum something as it would be her birthday soon.
