I woke up and I had a shower. I got ready for school. I wore white jeans with a light blue top and a white denim jacket. I put on a pair of white trainers and ran downstairs for breakfast. I tied my hair up and went downstairs.
"Mum! Look my report card is here," Lilly said.
I went to the kitchen and Lilly was opening her report card.
"Didn't you get one in school?" I asked.
"No, did you?" She asked.
"Yeah, I've either lost it or it's still in my locker," I said, quickly.
"What grade are you working at, honey?" Mum asked.
"I'm working just below average but I'm going to try harder and get them higher," I said.
"I wouldn't mind if you were failing because you should just concentrate on getting better, first then improve," she said.
"I'll tell you the truth then, I'm failing Mum," I said.
"Like I said concentrate on getting better and then your grades," she said, smiling.
I just nodded.
"I'm working on all A's and A*'s," Lilly squealed.
"That's great, darling," Mum said.
"Yeah, that's brilliant, Lils," John said.
"I'm making lasagne before I go to work so you guys help yourself when you come back from school, okay?" Mum said.
We all said yes. Ryan was stuffing his face with toast whilst John was eating cereal. I reached over and grabbed one of his triangle-cut toast and ate it.
"Hey, that's mine, get your own," he said.
I rolled my eyes and munched on the toast. When, I ate the toast, I headed out to school. When I arrived, lots of student asked me what happened and if I was okay and it got a bit annoying. I don't want anyone to know that I have cancer. They'd all feel sorry and sympathetic towards me and I don't like that. Plus, it's none of their business. I can't tell Tyler either because I want him to be the same with me. I want him to still be chill with me and if I tell him then that'll change everything.
I went to the bathroom and went inside a cubicle. I locked the door and I sat on the floor with my knees up. I didn't really want to go to lesson. I didn't want to tell anyone about the fact that I had cancer. I probably will be okay, right? I can do this. I will be okay again.
I sat in the bathroom contemplating life when I heard I heard a bang on the door.
"Alexa, I know it's you in here," I heard Kylie say.
"I just don't want to go lesson," I said.
"Well, I'll skip with you, just open the door," she said.
"No, I kind of want to skip by myself," I said.
"Now I know you're lying, you're avoiding me," she said.
"I'm not," I said.
"Yes you are, why didn't you meet me in the morning and you haven't replied to any of my messages when normally you reply straight away," she said.
"Well I've been busy,"
"Too busy to talk to your best mate?"
