I woke up and got changed in a white crop top and shorts-styled dungarees. I put on a pair of pink trainers which did not match my outfit at all but they looked super cute. I seriously need to get rid of some of my trainers; I have way too many. I changed my oxygen tank and went downstairs.

"I'm going to go with Tyler to take Ari to school then I'll come back so you can take me to the hospital," I said.

"I won't be able to take you today, there's an emergency at work," mum said.

"I'll go by myself," I said.

"I can tell John to take time off work if you like," she said.

"No, honestly it's fine," I said.

I ate five slices of toast with some beans. I saw Ryan give me strange looks.

"What?" I asked him.

"I think you get your appetite of me," he said.

"How can you eat so much?" Lilly asked.

"I'm hungry," I said.

She rolled her eyes and continued eating her granola. It did not look appetising but she looked like she was enjoying her small portion of food anyways.

I left the house and walked to Tyler's and knocked on the door. He smiled when he saw me. He told me to come in and when I walked to the kitchen I saw that his stepdad was eating breakfast along with his pregnant mother.

"Do you want some breakfast?" Tyler asked.

"I'm not sitting on the same table as them," I said.

"Excuse me, it's my house so get the fuck out of here," the stepdad said.

To be honest, I was being sort of rude but I didn't care. They both were horrible people who need to learn how to treat their children and step children. His stepdad left the house. Tyler went upstairs to wake Ariana up. I felt tiredness overcome me and I let out a sigh.

"Are you okay?" His mum asked me.

"Yeah I'm fine," I said, giving her a small smile.

"Do you need to sit down?" She asked, pulling out a chair.

I sat down.

"Thanks," I muttered.

"So are you Ty's girlfriend?" She asked.

"No, I'm just his friend." I chuckled.

"Tyler never told me what happened to you, do you have breathing problems?" She asked, pointing at the oxygen tank.

"You could say that, I have lung cancer," I said.

"I'm so sorry," she said, holding my hand.

"It's not your fault," I said.

She gave me a small smile.

"How many months are you gone?" I asked her.

She held her stomach without noticing.

"8 months," she said.

I noticed that she held a sad look in her eyes. That there was something that was bothering her and upsetting her.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah," she replied smiling.

I could tell that her smile was fake.

"I need to get to work," she said.

"You work whilst your pregnant?" I asked.

"He wants me to work," she said before quickly leaving.
