'We only part to meet again,' - Unknown.

I felt my lungs ache with every breath I took in. My breaths were becoming more and more shallow and slower. I heard the beating of my heart bleep become gradually slower. Mum held one of my hands tightly and Ryan held the other with Lilly. Dad sat on the side of my bed, his hand resting on me gently. Landon was sat on the other side of the bed. John stood at the side of the bed next to Mum. I was with the people that I loved.
Everyone was sad, others were in tears. I was dying. This is my final moment. When my heart will slowly come to a point where it stops beating. When my breaths will stop as they can no longer bare the pain of breathing and can no longer take in oxygen. When I will part from my loved ones.
"Where's Kylie?" I asked, before taking in a huge breath as I felt pain when I spoke.
"I texted her to come over, she hasn't replied and she's not answering her calls," Landon said.
"Oh it's fine," I said before gasping at the huge pain in my lungs.
"Get the doctor," Mum said.
"I'm fine," I said to Mum.
"Lex," Landon said, his tears started to spill.
"I don't want you to go," Lilly said as she started to cry out.
Ryan held onto her but the tears glistened in his eyes too.
"I don't want you to die Alexa, please don't go. I don't want to lose my big sister," Lilly sobbed out loud.
"I don't want to lose you either," Landon cried.
"It perfect. It's the perfect way to go. I'm in a room with my family and my first love; what more could I ask for," I said, my tears falling sidewards onto the cushion.
"Alexa," Landon cried, stroking my face.
"It's okay. It's perfect," I said.
He buried his face into my cheek and the side of my face gently. I was in so much emotional pain that I couldn't control it all and I sobbed and cried. Landon kissed my cheek before sitting upright.
"I just want you to know Alexa, there will never ever be a day where I don't think about you because you're one in a million. You're my little sister and I love you to bits," Ryan said, kissing my hand.
"I love you too Ryan," I said.
"I don't know what I'm going to do without you. I'm always borrowing your clothes and copying your style because I've always wanted to be like you and I've always looked up to you. You're so brave Lex and I'll miss you like mad," Lilly said.
"Love you Lils," I whispered.
"Love you too," she replied.
"Seeing as everyone seems to be doing a little sort of speech, I just want to let you know that I'm sorry. I'm really sorry for being an awful Dad. I always hoped to come back and work my socks off till I can get you all to forgive me but I was too late," Dad said.
I made eye contact with him.
"I forgive you," I said.
His eyes widened and his face lit up.
"Truly?" He asked.
"Yes, I truly forgive you," I said.
"That literally means the world to me Alexa, thank you," he said.
I looked at Mum and gave her hand a squeeze.
"I'm scared of losing you. I never thought that I would have to lose any of my children but I have to lose you. You are truly so special Alexa and you don't even see it. You're such a good person with a big heart. I love you so much," she said.
"I love you too Mum, always." I said.
My sight blurred slightly before coming back in contact after blinking hard. The pain I was feeling when I just continued breathing was unbearable. My breaths became much more slower and it was noticeable that I was in a lot of pain. Mum started to sob quietly. She knew I was trying hard to stay. I tried my absolute hardest to take in oxygen and breathe it back out but I was in excruciating pain in doing so.
"It's okay darling, you can let go," Mum said, with a heartbroken look on her face.
My sight became blurry as I lost contact with everything and the beeping stopped. My heart stopped beating and my final push of breath was let out before everything went blank.
Third person POV
"No!" Landon wailed as the flatline appeared on the heart beat machine and all that could be heard was a long bleeping noise.
Lilly screamed out as her cries filled the room as the reality hit her; Alexa was gone. Her Mum cried as she held onto Alexa's hand, not letting go. Ryan's sobs escaped his lips as he could no longer remain strong.
Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, love leaves a memory that no one can steal.
