Toni stopped the bike just before the road to the abandoned warehouse, she got off the bike and started walking cautiously done the road. As she approached the warehouse she scanned the area for Ghoulies, but none were to be seen so she assumed they would be inside. Toni sneaked around the back of the warehouse to where she stopped at a door. She opened to door and quietly slipped inside the warehouse. The pink headed serpent made her way through the small corridor that led out to the main part of the warehouse where Cheryl was sitting. Toni remained hidden behind a stack of old empty boxes while she scanned the room for Ghoulies but she could only see the one that was  in the corner and fortunately he was asleep. She took a few steps out in the light of the room which caught Cheryl's eyes. Toni immediately put her finger on her lip to keep Cheryl quiet. Cheryl had tears forming in her eyes at the sight of her. Toni continued to creep quietly towards Cheryl but her heart was telling her to run to her and hold her in her arms. Each step that Toni took felt like a mile for Cheryl. Finally Toni was standing in front of Cheryl. Toni put her hand in her pocket and pulled out a pocket knife the opened it up.

"It's okay, you're safe now" Toni whispered as she cut the cable ties off of Cheryl.

Once Cheryl's hands were free she grabbed Toni's face and pulled her in for a kiss. Cheryl didn't want to let her go so she kept Toni pulled in. The broke up the kiss when a beer bottle dropped on the floor. Then turned to see the Ghoulie stirring from his sleep.

"We need to go" Toni whispered and took Cheryl's hand

The Ghoulie saw the two girls standing by the chair, he reached down and picked up the gun.

"Don't move or I will shoot" he warned with the gun trembling in his hands.

"It's okay, put the gun down" Toni pushed Cheryl behind to protect her

"I said...get...get...back in the chair" the guy stammered, he was clearly uncomfortable about the situation.

"I will do whatever you want just put the gun down and let her go"

"I'm not leaving you" Cheryl panicked

"Cheryl go!" Toni whispered harshly

Toni made her way over to the chair and sat down on it, she turned her head to look and Cheryl and told her to go. Cheryl slowly crept away while the Ghoulie was still focused on Toni. Once Cheryl was out of sight, she ran down that same corridor Toni came down. Meanwhile back in the warehouse Toni was trying to calm the unsteady Ghoulie.

"Look you don't have to do this, you can let me go and I won't say anything" Toni began reasoning.

"I can tell you don't want to be here, we can sort this out"

The Ghoulie put his hands on his heads with the gun still in them. He began taking deep breathes as he appeared to be having a panic attack. Toni stayed sat down in the chair while he eventually calmed himself down, just enough so that Toni thought that she could attempt to talk him in to dropping the gun.

"Here's what we are going to do" Toni cautiously stood out of the chair and took a step towards the guy.

"You are going to give me the gun and we can get out of here without any trouble, I promise. I want to help you" Toni took another step towards the guy.

"I didn't want to be a Ghoulie" he broke down

"I got in trouble at school for drugs and they bailed me out in return for working for them" he sobbed

"You don't have to work for them. I can help you" Toni then took another step

Police sirens could be heard in the distance.

"Just please make it stop" he looked down at the gun in his hands

"I can. I just need you to give me the gun" Toni was now one step away from the guy now

The sirens were getting louder causing him to panic.

"What's going to happen?"

"Nothing will happen if you give me the gun" Toni said calmly

"Everything is going to be ok right?" he looked at Toni in the eyes

"I can only say yes if you hand it over"

Toni took that final step towards him. Toni slowly put her hands out to reach out for the gun. The guy looked at the gun in his hands then slowly put in her hands but he was still panicky and kept holding on to it. Just as he was about to let go, they could hear sirens right outside the warehouse. He panicked and went to grab the gun back, but Toni held on to it.

"It's okay, just let go" Toni tried to reassure him while they tussled for the gun.
