Chapter 12

Kevin to Group Chat

SOS - Toni just got arrested for drug possesion. Meet at Pop's ASAP

Kevin had heard the news from his father, Sheriff Keller questioned him about whether he knew if Toni was involved with drugs particularly Jingle Jangle. This was the first Kevin had heard, he felt there was more to the story, therefore he needed his friends' help to try and get to the bottom of this.

Kevin, Betty, Jughead, Archie, Veronica and Josie all arrived at Pop's not long after the message had gotten out, however the only person who hadn't arrived was Cheryl. 

"Is it true?" Veronica asked

"Yes. My dad was called to Cheryl's house as that's where Toni was"

"Wait...where is Cheryl?" Archie questioned

"Toni went to hers after school to see her as no one had heard from her in a while" Betty added

"Anyway they definitely found drugs on her, well in her bag" Kevin explained.

"There has to be a mistake" Jughead questioned

"No there isn't. But my dad doesn't believe that she is the type of girl to deal drugs or use them"

"Why are we going to do?" Jughead asked

"I don't know. But I think there is more to the story" Kevin confessed

The others agreed

"I think we should see Cheryl first to find out more" Kevin suggested.

"Yes let's go" Veronica replied.

The 6 of them headed to Cheryl's house in search of more answers. When they got there Penelope opened the door to them.

"Hi Mrs Blossom, is Cheryl home?" Kevin questioned.

"Yes but she isn't feeling well, therefore we would appreciate if you leave us alone and she will see you all back at school when she is better" Penelope then shut the door on them.

"I ummm.." Kevin just stared at the door before turning to the others.

"Well that went well" he joked.

"Look don't worry. We will just have to try and get more information out of your dad" Archie suggested.

"Yeah I guess"

"I'm gonna go to the trailer park and let the serpents know, they will want to help" Jughead added.

"In the mean time we need to try and get in contact with Cheryl to find out what happened" Betty suggested.

"Keep us all update on whatever you find out" Kevin nodded in agreement.

The teens left Cheryl's house and headed off to their various destinations to find out what had happened at Cheryl's house and hopefully prove Toni's innocence.
