Episode 6: Vanquishing Team Natsu!

"IS THAT THEM?" Chase said, his black cloak billowing in the wind. Everybody was either at his side or behind him. Galena stood behind him, being protected while Akane stood alongside her. Sonya was next to Zash as the man nodded. Y/n crept up from underneath a large tree overlooking the people they were planning to attack. "That's the group from earlier."

Nikos snickered, muffling it by placing his hand over his mouth. "So much for 'not our business'." He mused, Chase shooting a glare at him. Rolling his eyes, he looked towards Nikos and Y/n. The two were known for their animalistic dynamic. They always seemed to work together, buying enough time or creating a well enough distraction.

Chase moved his hand forward, Y/n transforming into a large hound, Nikos climbing on top of her as she leaped off the edge and right near the group. "Why aren't you sending all of them—" Zash started, but the leader sent him a sharp glare that quickly shut him up. "They're my team. I know how they work. Don't you dare question me, especially after you asked for our help."

He sent Akane next, creating a barrier that zapped the opponents anytime they tried to scramble away from the fighting zone. Y/n was set up against Lucy, snarling and swaying her tail angrily at Lucy. Nikos sighed, avoiding an ice attack and launching one of his snakes into the air to latch around Gray. "Couldn't even get a damn vacation!" He complained verbally.

Akane watched Wendy's attention swivel to Carla after Y/n had tossed her aside and knocked her against the wall, forcing her to pass out. "Carla!" She cried out, but Akane dismissed her yells, moving her fingers to zap Wendy. "Hey! Eyes over here, chick." She nodded curtly. Usually wind granted Wendy speed, but Akane had kept her interlocked in a smaller barrier.

Erza, about to help out Gray with Nikos's counterattacks, was stopped when Chase leaped down and wrapped his chains around her ankles, making her feet dig into the ground. Burning her slightly due to the mixture of flames and chains, he smirked. "Watch it, Titania." He teased her, back flipping when she aimed an attack towards him.

Natsu's head whipped towards Lucy when she was knocked back, her celestial spirit deemed as useless when Y/n effortlessly scratched through it. "Lucy!" He yelled, about to go after her. Nikos smirked, one snake wrapping around Natsu's right ankle and latching him to the ground. Zash finally made an appearance, looking at Natsu in the eyes.

His eyes became a bright red as he threw his fiery fist towards Lucy, but Gray quickly stopped it. "Akane!" She nodded when Nikos yelled at her, everyone scattering out of the openings of the barrier. The barrier closed in again, leaving only team Natsu inside. "Release!" Nikos demanded, the snake bites that his snakes had left on everyone finally releasing venom.

However, it wasn't lethal poison. Earlier on, Zash had said that he wanted them alive enough to make them suffer for what they had done. Plucking the dragon cry from the blue cat's paws, he held up the powerful staff in his hand. Y/n became a human again, wiping her mouth with her hand as she shook her head. 

"Pathetic. That cat passed out just because I was in dog form." She mused.

Nikos smiled at that, snickering. "Or maybe your face is just that scary." Y/n turned around, jumping into the air and giving him a roundhouse kick to the face. He was sent skidding back, his back hitting a rock behind him. "Fuck off, reptile." She hissed, rolling her eyes. Chase stifled a laugh, nodding towards Galena who was still standing on the cliff.

She leaped down, easily catching herself as she stood up and wandered towards the group. Akane looked between Sonya and Galena, blinking briefly as her brows furrowed. Y/n noticed, looking towards her as Nikos recovered behind her, rubbing his head and grumbling in the background. "What's up?"

The black haired girl sighed under her breath, shaking her head. "Never mind. I'm probably just seeing shit. We should probably get moving now." Zash stopped them, standing in front of them. "No can do. Now that you're involved with King Animus's business, you are staying until further notice." He informed, staring down at them.

Chase's hands balled into fists. The entire team hated taking orders from someone else since they already had such a unique and impenetrable dynamic. However, if they did rebel, they'd be in deeper shit and more on the run than they already are now. In the end, it was just a full on pain in the ass.

Zash, sensing their reluctant compliance, pointed towards the pile of people surrounding the still burning fire they'd set up. "First order of business, put them in the bird prison." He paused for a moment, watching Chase interlace chains around the abdomen around each person and animal to make it easier to teleport them for Akane.

"Actually," He pointed at the blonde haired girl that always got on Y/n's nerves. "Take that one and put her in the dungeon."

Galena grew frightened, hiding behind Chase. The fiery male grew irritated by it, but mentally vowed to protect her with his life. Akane even seemed to be on edge by the statement, growing stiff as her fingers curled. The h/c haired girl beside her grew nervous, her feet shuffling on the ground. Sonya flinched, looking towards the group who seemed to be cornered and forced to do his bidding.

Chase finally spoke up, glaring powerfully. "I don't give a fuck about your King Animus or whatever. Feel free to do whatever you want with that blonde bimbo, but now that I know your fucking taste," He was in front of Zash in a flash, grabbing him by the collar and hoisting him up even though he was shorter than the bulky man.

Nikos was behind him, two snakes ready to strike in a protective manner as the girls of their team stood behind him. "If you even dare to get closer than comfortable to any of our girls," He looked back towards Y/n, Akane, and Galena before turning towards Zash, who was obviously fearful. "All that'll be left of you is Nikos's snakes slithering in your flaming skull, got it?"

His voice had grown an edge to it, his teeth gritting in anger towards the disgusting pig. Zash quickly nodded as Chase dropped him to the ground, Sonya wincing at the sound and feeling of it all. Linking the chains of the bodies to Akane's left wrist, he linked other chains to everyone else on his team.

Sending a signalling nod to Akane, they were gone.
