Episode 56: Pure Chaos!

HER CLAWS DUG INTO THE GROUND, destroying multiple stone soldiers as she bowed down to one man in particular. The mages that had managed to hitch a ride shared alarmed looks, magic power radiating from them as they recognized the stone army as the one that Galena had unlocked earlier. 

Erza swallowed harshly, "He must have Galena under his control too," She assumed, watching as the Kyuuseishu bowed towards the same man. Sting held onto her neck by one scale, shuddering at the cold wind that bristled his hairs. Y/n let out a snarl, swinging her head as he flew off, Lector quickly catching him as everyone dropped down.

The silver-haired man they bowed down to let a sinister smile shape his lips, glasses with teal lenses covering his blue eyes. "Good work, Bestia, Anguis, Obice, and Vincula." He turned to his left, using one hand to tilt up a dazed Galena's chin as a sweet smile shaped her lips. "And how could I forget my darling little Nutrix?"

Galena giggled, smiling. "I only live to serve you, Headmaster." He smiled fondly, patting her head before turning his attention back to the Kyuuseishu. "I see you arrived with some guests," His blue eyes hardened into a powerful glare, staring down at all of them as Y/n snorted some smoke through her scaly nostrils.

"We apologize, Headmaster. They decided to tag along, unfortunately. We figured we could have some fun with them here due to the open field and numerous soldiers." Chase spoke blandly, his head still tilted down. Whether it was in shame or respect, it was hard to tell. The mages of Fairy Tail and other guilds stared at the man. Was he the one behind all of this?

Erza narrowed her eyes, gritting her teeth. "Our main priority for right now is to extract that lacrima tracker in their bodies somehow. I want the main teams of each guild to focus on that, if you're not part of the main team keep your eyes on the stone soldiers or look for a solution on the lacrima extracting." 

Nobody dared to defy her words, bracing themselves for the worst. The white-haired male moved his finger, the Kyuuseishu moving lifelessly off of Y/n. The girl shifted back into her human form quickly before latching onto one of Chase's chains, the male bringing her up to their level as they overlooked their opponents.

"Now, children," He turned to them. "Do you remember your training drills?"

Galena smiled happily, "Of course, Headmaster! Which one shall we do this time?" She seemed excited, her figure perking up as she clapped ecstatically. There was a glint of malicious intent and insanity shining in her eyes as she grinned widely at their next victims. The headmaster smiled coldly, fixing his glasses.

He set his right hand on his waist, "How about a little drill of hide and seek?" The Kyuuseishu quickly nodded as Nikos let his snakes become more visible. The two serpents wrapped around his arms, letting out a hiss as Y/n transformed into a bear, growling. The two knew that they'd have the upper hand, especially with their sense of smell.

Chase knew that this wasn't his best position to fight, setting up a maze with his chains and the use of the stone soldiers instead. Galena cheered, moving her arms. They stayed silent for a moment, watching their opponents carefully. Suddenly, the five split up and lunged into different areas of the maze.

Everyone grew separated, looking for one another. "What the Hell?" Natsu cursed, his fist lighting aflame as he attempted to punch through the rows of stone soldiers. Lucy's yelp rang out from an area on his far left, his name leaving her lips in a panicked shout. Lucy struggled against the soldier, the stone arm holding onto her whip tightly.

"Hold on, Lucy! Just hang in there; you got this!" He shouted words of encouragement, his knuckles growing more bruised by the second. Akane landed easily, her slightly ripped dress billowing in the wind. Her toe touched the tip of the stone soldier's head that was on Natsu's right. "You had ten seconds to hide and you waste it?"

She moved her hand to the right as her magenta eyes glinted with malevolence. "People like you are pitiful." A barrier formed in front of Lucy, exploding the soldier that had a grip on her whip. The aftermath explosion lashed in her face and Natsu could hear her pained scream, making him yell out her name again.

Akane tied her hair up into pigtails, "Focus on your opponent!" She shouted in a scolding manner, rushing towards Natsu as he parried her blow with a fiery fist. He gritted his teeth, pushing her back. "I don't want to hurt you and you're my friend, but I know this isn't you." Natsu charged back at her as the two became flashes of purple and reddish-orange light.

As the two danced back and forth, the others held off stone soldiers, grew more entangled in the maze, or were working on how to get the trackers out of the Kyuuseishu's neck. Levy, Freed, and Rufus were the trio that managed to work on that. Freed had made a quick enchantment, keeping them together as they became surrounded by the soldiers.

As Freed focused on the soldiers, Rufus studied the group's moves along with helping Levy with figuring out a cure. "It's a lacrima, right?" Rufus muttered, biting his thumb, remembering what Sting had brought up earlier. "Yeah, that's what Erza had told us." She nodded, mumbling under her breath and blinking.

"Could we get a lacrima similar to it and extract the magic. We can't dispell it as it is, but what if we just transferred the magic instead?" She spoke softly as his head tilted up. "We need to find the material that the lacrima was made of. The only person that knows that is Porlyusica." Freed gritted his teeth, feeling the enchantment beginning to deteriorate.

He looked towards them, turning his head over his shoulder. "So, we have a game plan?" They quickly nodded as he muttered under his breath, gaining a window frame of three seconds. "Dark Écriture: Wings!" He shouted, lifting the two quickly and flying as fast as possible. Levy turned her head, pointing. "Get us to Minerva! She's the closest!"
