Episode 16: New Additions!

"DID YOU HEAR WHAT FAIRY TAIL DID?"

Sting had just arrived at the guild hall and it was way too early to deal with whatever rumors were flying around the room. Rubbing his eyes tiredly, the guild hall began to chatter even louder, overriding his already sensitive hearing. A low groan left his lips as he headed for the bar, getting a glass of water to hopefully wake him up. His taste buds couldn't handle coffee.

Yukino approached them, a skip in her step. "Sting! Sting! Did you hear what Fairy Tail did?" His brows furrowed at her statement, shaking his head as his fingers clasped around the glass that the bartendress had just given him. Taking a sip of the clear liquid, he blinked at her. "No, I just woke up. What did team Natsu do this time?"

The white-haired celestial mage giggled at that, a smile forming on her lips. He wasn't wrong though, usually, Fairy Tail's actions were based upon whatever team Natsu did. "Well, apparently they ran into the Kyuuseishu on their last mission and invited them into the guild hall! They're actually formulating a plan for getting rid of their charges!" She seemed happy about it.

Sting's eyes widened, "Huh? Are you serious? That's insane!" He commented, blinking as his fingers started tapping the wood on the bar in the guild hall. Yukino tilted her head, white hair slightly swishing with her movements. "I mean, that's what Lucy told me. Also, the news is buzzing about it! There's only four of them now, however." She chimed.

"One of them, the youngest, realized that she's the sister of Lady Sonya. In a sense, she's the sister of the Queen of Stella. Her charges are dropped however since Stella has its own ruling rather than Fiore which is mainly ruled by the presence of the magic council." She scratched her cheek, pondering over the entire topic.

Sting quirked a brow, "Hm," He hummed under his breath, thinking about it silently as well. Rogue came up to him, going over to a stool and sitting down. "What do you say we go to Fairy Tail? It wouldn't hurt to go and see who the Kyuuseishu actually are. Nonetheless, we did stress over the entire thing for a while." He blinked at Sting.

The white dragon slayer sighed, nodding. "I really don't feel like doing anything today, but hopefully kicking Natsu's ass will give me enough energy." Minerva threw an apple at his face. Sting looked bewildered as the red fruit smacked him on his forehead, eliciting a small scowl and groan from him. He raised his head quickly, narrowing his eyes at her.

She tilted her head, black hair moving smoothly as she placed her hand on her hip. "Probably because you haven't eaten yet, idiot. I do agree with Rogue, however. It's been a while since I've seen anyone in Fairy Tail." Yukino seemed to be on board as well, cheering as a smile laced her lips. "I agree! I haven't seen Lucy since a few months ago!"

Now, everyone that was in the usual Sabertooth team was looking towards their guild master expectantly. Picking up the apple and taking a bite out of it, he looked at the others as a soft sigh escaped his lips. "Fine. Yukino, can you look at the next train to Magnolia?" Even saying the word 'train' sent a shudder down his spine.

"Actually," Minerva piped up, waving a flurry of tickets in her gloved hand. "I suspected we'd go, so I bought some beforehand. Our train ride is in half an hour, so see you all there." She winked, disappearing due to her specialty in space-time magic. Rogue sighed, looking towards his exceed. Frosch clipped her claws to Rogue's cloak, the two flying out.

Yukino decided to walk her way there, along with Orga and Rufus. Sting, on the other hand, used the same tactic that Rogue did, but using Lector instead. After meeting up at the train station, the group of eight boarded their train. Almost instantly, the torturous time of motion sickness started up for both Rogue and Sting, their heads hanging out of the window.

Minerva tapped her nails on the table in between her and some of her teammates, "Apparently, all of the Kyuuseishu practice some sort of lost magic. That's what was listed in the papers, but they may be exaggerating most of it." Yukino looked towards her left, locking eyes with Minerva as she gently shook her head. "Lucy said something along those lines too."

The lady wearing makeup hummed, her interest peaking at the idea of a group of five—now four—practicing lost magic and using it against helpless citizens. Yukino let a nervous exhale leave her lips. "Do you really think they'll get cleared?" Rufus looked up from under his hat, blond locks flowing on his sides and behind him. 

"Knowing Fairy Tail," He started before tipping his hat graciously, resting his elbow on the table in front of them as he set his chin on the palm of his left hand. "I don't think they plan on stopping until their charges are cleared." Orga said something sensible for once, "Fairy Tail is never and will never be the type to give up."

Yukino giggled softly, nodding slowly. She always admired the guild dynamic that they shared. Is that how you treat your family?! She reminisced when Natsu had barged into the Sabertooth guild hall when Jiemma was still running it, causing a ruckus just because they kicked her out for unruly reasons. 

Although she wasn't there, Rogue was there to fill her in when she curiously asked about the event. Minerva looked out the window, "It's both admirable, but also scary." She chuckled, closing her eyes briefly before reopening them. "Their determination is what puts a fire in their heart," Rufus recited like a poem, smiling slightly.

They all nodded, Sting and Rogue groaning in what seemed to be a unified agreement. Minerva rolled her eyes, crossing her arms and looking over to the two suffering dragon slayers. "Oh, shut it, you two. We only have about twenty minutes left until we reach Magnolia, so suck it up." She looked at them.

Sting emitted another groan, but they all supposed it was to be another groan of suffering.
