Episode 4: Stunning Stella!

HAVING MADE THEIR WAY to Stella, the group of five were delighted to finally get off the boat that they had stolen. Of course, no one knew that. Akane smiled brightly, clapping her hands that were burrowed in her long sleeved sweater. "They might have a really pretty phone case! Ah, look at all the pretty sweaters!" Her eyes lit up.

Stella was known for their stellanium crystals. It was expected that they used it for their shops and products for tourists and the citizens. Galena signed, smiling brightly. "I'm looking forward to the starry sky!" She moved her hands before putting them together and setting them behind her back.

Nikos's right eye squinted as one of the clothes in the stores glittered, covered in stellanium. "It's so damn bright," He complained, looking to the side. Chase scoffed, rolling his eyes as he adjusted the black cloak that draped over his shoulders. "Better get used to it. I don't have a 'leave' plan as of right now."

The black haired male scowled at that, crossing his arms as his white button up's sleeves scrunched at his pose. "Aren't you supposed to be the smart leader?" Y/n, who had stayed quiet until now, used the opportunity to thwack Nikos upside the head. She wore a white cloak, opposite of Chase's style. "Shut up and deal with it. It's not a bad place to hang out."

Nikos sighed, averting his eyes. He knew that he was usually the odd ball when it came to opinions. Y/n walked up ahead as Galena slowed down to walk alongside Nikos. She did multiple hand signs, pulling jokes and other things to hopefully cheer him up. Akane chewed on the last bits of her lollipop, looking around. "Where are we even going to stay?"

Chase turned his head to Y/n at that question and she sighed. "Yes, I already made connections with the woodland creatures here. They're currently building us a shelter." Galena's expression seemed to fall at that idea. It wasn't like she hated camping, but she still preferred the comforts of a regular home sometimes.

Nobody seemed to notice, however, since she was in the back. "Apparently, there are large and colorful birds that reside here. That could possibly be our scapegoat." She mumbled under her breath, but it was loud enough for the rest of the team to hear it. Galena nodded, fumbling with her fingers nervously.

The white haired male just nodded, going along with whatever she said. He suddenly spun on his heel, staring down at everyone. "Alright, since we're here and it's a pretty place. Plus, we never get any breaks. Feel free to split up and explore or whatever. Meet back at," He paused, looking around before pointing at a small shop. "There."

Y/n glanced over at Chase before speaking up, "Someone has to go with Galena, however. I'd rather not leave her alone." She voiced, staring at everyone. Nikos and Akane shared a look. They both wouldn't mind taking her and walking around. Chase fixed it, "Gal, go with Nikos because he's a reckless piece of shit."

A scowl came upon his lips, but he didn't bother throwing hands. "Why you—" Chase grinned, snickering as he looked over his shoulder and towards Nikos. "—Gal looks excited to look around, I suggest you start your tour." Nikos put an arm around Galena's shoulders, rolling his eyes at Chase's statement before guiding her elsewhere.

Akane had already sped off to one of the shops, interested in the sparkly sweaters and phone cases. Y/n walked alongside Chase, the two heading straight down the sidewalk. "So, what are you planning to check out while here?" He piped up, glancing over at her as she shrugged, humming softly. "I'm not very sure. Everything looks nice here."

A soft smile shaped her lips. Compared to the others, Y/n was a bit more independent and closed off. She was usually the most supportive one and was known as the 'scouter' of the team. She was incredibly reliable and selfless. Out of the entire team, she was the closest to Chase and Nikos since they'd grown up together before Galena and Akane joined the chaos.

However, that's a story for another time. Chase looked over, "I think I should fill you in on our events for tonight." She hummed, quirking a brow in his direction. She seemed genuinely interested. Usually, Chase didn't say much until the time of the mission, but since he was saying it earlier on, it must've been a bit more complex.

"Our client is none other than Zash Caine." He sighed, a breath leaving his lips as he started. Y/n's eyes widened slightly, fingers fumbling as she blinked oddly at him. "As in the criminal? The one that's known as 'the betrayer of Fiore'?" She questioned, staring at him. Chase nodded slowly, chewing on the inside of his cheek. "That's the one."

He spoke up again, digging his hands into the pockets of his cloak. "We'll be meeting him at the bar tonight." Her head whipped over to Chase at that, eyes widening in alarm. "And what about Galena?" Chase smiled at that, tilting his head. Lacing his fingers together, he put them behind his head, a soft yawn escaping his lips.

"I thought you'd say that,"

Her eyes narrowed at his comment, "You either say it or you don't, you dork." He playfully scowled at that, blinking at Y/n. A grin spread across his lips as he elaborated, "She'll be Nikos's 'date'. In a sense, he'll be by her side for the entire night." Her brows quirked at that, knowing that Nikos didn't like things like this sprung on him so suddenly.

Her fingers messed with each other, "Have you told him yet?" Chase shook his head with a slight snicker. He was obviously amused by the plan, knowing that he could possibly pick a fight with Nikos about it later. Y/n rolled her eyes at his antics, a soft sigh escaping her lips as she looked over at him.

"You may be the leader, but you are very childish."
