It's finally the first day of the year. I open the drawer in my room and take out the carefully folded paper. It holds the thought of yesterday. I smile while opening it and then read it:
"I know that I'm going to confess my feelings for Jai today. I have no idea how he is going to react and stuff, like honestly. I don't even know him like that. If he cringes at my feelings,  which he probably will, then I will spend my day and night reading books about heart breaks. But if he understands them, then I won't expect a thing from him. Cause I can't, because relationships are not my thing. Who knows?"
Well, I probably shouldn't be in a relationship with him according to the letter. But, his eyes carried something really beautiful when he let the new year's cake gently in my mouth. We are meeting today and I hope we make this day beautiful too.
