18. Let's Bet on It

"(Y/n), hurry up so I can have enough time to change your bandages!" I run down the stairs picking up my bag on the way down, "Sorry I was looking for my left shoe" mom shook her head opening the aid box, " It's always the left shoe that goes missing" I sat in the open chair patiently waiting for her to finish, " There we go, don't do anything reckless now" I clenched and unclenched my bandaged hand smiling a goodbye.

Barking stopped me as I reached for the door, Tobi ran up to me bouncing in place, " Tobi I can't bring you with me" he whined sitting down Sock ran up to me as well clawing my long sock, " I have to go Katsuki already left me behind again and I don't want what happened last to happen again" I pried the door open Tobi bit on to my skirt Sock doing the same with my shoes bow, " Come on guys, I need to go" they didn't budge I sighed picking up Sock, " Fine, but you better come back" I placed Sock on my head as Tobi followed close behind.

Reaching school in time I faced Tobi putting Sock on his back, "Now go home" I pointed back the direction of home Tobi nods walking back home, "Got to hurry now" I ran in bumping into students on the way to class. I see Aizawa sensei at the door completely covered in bandages.

'He's too much of a pro!' once I got near him I tapped his shoulder trying to slide in."Bakugo-chan! You're alright!" the whole class shouts I smiled at everyone giving them all a yes, " That's right! You can't get rid me easily!" I punched the air with my bandaged hand silently wincing at the sting, 'Shouldn't have done that'

"Alright now take your seat, the fight isn't over yet" Aizawa nudged me forward with his mummy arms as he spoke, " The U.A. Sports festival is drawing near." "That's a super normal school event!!" we all yell starting to get excited. I sat in my seat thinking over the possibilities of how to show off my quirk, 'I should list my stored Quirks in a book!' I pulled out a fresh book already flipping through pages as I write, ignoring the rest of the talk.

I've managed to write in 15 pages front and back two lists one side with complete control and the other with half control, "Class dismissed" I slammed my book closed grinning with excitement, "Are you excited Izuku-kun?!" "H-Hai!" I put my stuff away hearing the others talk about the Sports Festival as well, "Everyone is so into it" Izuku said looking at everyone, "You're not? We have enrolled here to become heroes, so of course, we would be fired up!" Iida shook his hips getting "fired up" I walk over to Iida patting his shoulder, "You're weird for a normal person" he stopped moving his body, his whole face turned red as he mumbled, " Deku-kun Iida-kun Bakugo-chan..." I felt a strong radiation behind me as I turned to the person calling my name, "Oh whoa, okay" I put my hands up to Uraraka as she gave us a startling smiling, " Let's do our best at the Sports Festival." "Uraraka, your face...! It's..." a pink aura loomed over her starting to terrify us, " You don't look carefree at all, even though that's what your name means" Mina pops in pointing out the obvious, " Everyone, I'm gonna do my best!!" "Yeah!!" she turned to the guys next to her shouting the same thing. They raised their fists not sure if what they're doing is the right thing.

"See you guys later!" I catch up to Katsuki as we lined up for lunch. Getting our food we sat down at an empty two-person table, "So, I can tell you're excited about the Sports Festival" I look up from my food, Katsuki smirked taking a bite out of his, "Of course, I get to crush that stupid deku and become number one in one day" I gave him a dry laugh eating the rest of my food, " I remember it like it was yesterday, we were 10, sitting in front of the T.V. watching the U.A. students competing in the obstacles" he nods drinking his glass of water, "And how we built our own Sport Festival in the backyard even though it was tag and wrestling"

Katsuki stood up staring down at me, "You better get to the part where we battle each other. I'm looking forward to kicking your ass" I smirked standing up I stick out my hand putting on my most innocent smile, "Let's have a bet, if I win you have to walk, feed, and shower Tobi for a month" I can see the horror in Katsukis face as he smirked grabbing mine almost crushing it, "That bet of yours is dirty. Alright then if I win, which is obviously gonna happen, you have to do my half of the house chores" I gasped trying to pull away. He held my hand smirking slamming his other hand on the table, "Too late idiot our bet is on now" he let go picking up his tray already walking to class. I sat down silently crying, 'oh man! Katsukis chores are outside chores. And that lawn mower sucks ass at cutting the grass, you know what I've been wanting to decorate the house for a while I can grow exquisite flowers on the walls oo~ I can finally add that pond I've wanted for the backyard!!'

I placed my tray in the tray holder going off to class, "To be honest if I win or lose it'll be a win-win in the end" I mumbled opening the door. I sat down in my seat doing the same thing I did earlier filling in my book.

[Later]

"Class dismissed" the lazy pro hero zipped up in his sleeping bag falling on the floor soundlessly asleep. I quickly put my stuff away dancing in place as I shake in anticipation, " Bakugo-chan are you okay?" I nod slinging my bag on, " I just REALLY need to use the bathroom" I race to the door opening it crashing into a person. "Sorry! Uh?" a crowd of people blocked the exit staring at us and some murmured to each other, " Shinso? Hi! Haven't seen you in a while" I hugged the purple haired male as he stuttered in place patting my back.

"HEY! GET YOUR NASTY ASS FINGERS OFF MY SISTER YOU PUNK!!" Katsuki stormed up to us pulling me away he held an iron fist on the holder of the backpack shouting at the people. Many of them weren't pleased to hear his rude comments calling them "Extras" he pulled me out of the class to the lockers, "Hurry up!!" "God, what got your panties in a twist" his hands steamed ready to punch me but was stopped seeing yet another love letter fly out, "Are you fucken kidding me?! Whoever this person is. I'll fucken kill them!!" I sighed picking up the love letter, "Please don't their writing is really cute" I blushed holding the pink letter to my chest. 'wonder what they wrote to me this time'  Katsuki grumbled slamming my locker closed. We walk home in a comfortable silence glancing at each other every now and then, " I just want you to be safe, okay?" barely a whisper came out of him as he frowned towards the ground, " I hate these feelings and you know I don't express them a lot. I just don't want some fucker to come by says he loves you and then hurts you" I smiled at Katsuki's rare moments, " Don't worry if he does, I can just beat the shit out of him" he chuckles pulling me in for a rare hug, " I'm a bad influence on you" I hugged him back enjoying his warmth. Katsuki may seem like a heartless person but he does have a heart, it's small but it's there.
