20. He's Like Me

I jumped onto the next rope to the next. I could see Katsuki still flying. I growled sprinting faster, " god my Katsuki side is coming out again" the next course was near I flipped through my book finding the Neko Quirk which was perfect when I finally got there. I formed into a Neko giving a small cat smile. I tied the book to my back sniffing the ground, 'some are fake!! They should be safe to run over then' I crawled continuing to sniff the ground a huge explosion happened behind me. I look up and what I saw surprised me, Izuku flew over me holding a large piece of metal. My eyes widen as I ran faster just behind Todoroki I watch Izuku launch himself forward leaving us in the dust.

I think quickly grabbing Todoroki's shoulders I push myself over him doing a front flip. I smiled at him waving a quick bye running as fast as I can. The stadium grew closer knowing I won't make it to first place, I didn't really care to be honest as long as I pass Katsuki it didn't matter. Reaching the Stadium Present Mic screams in excitement making the calls of placements, "2nd place Bakugo (Y/n)!!!!"

"ALRIGHT!! UGH!! IM SO TIRED I NEED A NAP!!" I drop to the ground changing back. Huffing I wiped the sweat from my forehead hugging my book, " I'm so glad you're still alive" I whispered I hear someone laugh walking up to my side, " enjoying that book now, are we?" I look up feeling a blush run up my face, " maybe" he chuckled giving me his hand, " thanks, Shinso", " you were good out there, doll" he pinched my cheek smirking, " thanks" I smiled leaning into the tired looking male, " I didn't see you, but I bet you were amazing" his face became rosy as he scratched the back of his head, " t-thanks" I felt someone pull me back throwing me over their shoulder, "h-hey?!", " stay away from her you fucker!!"

I sighed knowing who it is I punched his back repeatedly thrashing around, " let me go!!", " shut up!! And you stay away from her or you'll regret it next time!!" Katsuki turned around marching away I waved bye to Shinso. He waved turning around walking the opposite direction," while you were flirting over there the next challenge started and you're on my team" "oh...hey wait you're my enemy I can't team up with you!!!" I get out of Katsuki's grip standing a couple steps away from him, "idiot I want you on my team so I can fight you later!!" people turned to us giving me a sad smile. A couple of our classmates ran up to us asking to be on our team, " I'm not--", " who are you and what're your Quirks"

"Hey! Todoroki chose his team already! Bakugo Twins, team up with me!" Kirishima walked up to the group surrounding us smiling, " weird hair." Katsuki blurted out I smacked my face sighing, " I'm Kirishima! At least try to remember! And my hairs not that different from yours!" he points at Katsuki telling him his plan Katsuki smirked turning to me, " I like his plan we just need one more" in the end we got Sero as our fourth person.

I placed my hand on Kirishimas shoulder helping Katsuki up Sero got the other side pushing him up, " you guys ready?" Kirishima asked holding Katsukis feet, " I never agreed to this" I whispered, "too bad give me your book" I give Katsuki my book he flipped through it stuffing it in his shirt, " HEY! WHAT THE HELL?!?" "shut up I'll give it back later" we walked over to a corner getting ready I looked around seeing everyone eyeing the ten million, " START!!!"

Just as I thought everyone is going for the ten million. I grip Kirishimas shoulder telling him to turn a person neared us but was stopped quickly with my ice quirk. We ran past them hearing their arguments behind. I looked around on my side suddenly feeling no weight on my left arm, " huh?...!!" Katsuki jumped off rocketing himself up but was blocked by Dark Shadow, " catch him before he touches the ground!!" Sero nods wrapping his tape around Katsuki making him land in our arms, " IDIOT SAY SOMETHING NEXT TIME!!" we continued our running I hear Katsuki growl I look up seeing a blonde guy rip the headband off Katsukis forehead, " Class-A is too simple-minded.", " What'd you say, bastard? Give that back or I'll kill you!" I turn to the guy turning the team around I sense Katsuki radiate anger the more he hears his words, 'this guy is going to die' "oh and you're famous too, huh. Both you and doll face over there, you should tell me about it sometime, how it feels to be attacked by villains once a year" 'okay this dude is asking to be killed' "Kirishima, change of plans. Before we get Deku, let's kill all these guys!" I punched his side getting his attention he looked down growling I growled back, " don't growl at me and stay calm", " you shut up and Kirishima forward. Right now. I'm totally calm!" Katsuki slammed his fists together creating smoke to rise out of it. I faced the guy giving him a dull look, " it was nice knowing you whoever you are"

We sprinted towards the blonde but was dogged he lifted his hand creating an explosion on Katsukis face, " wow, what a nice Quirk!" I notice him touch Kirishimas hair I narrowed my eyes analyzing him, 'his quirk's copy...like mines, but mine is better' he hardens blocking Katsukis attack, " mines?!" , " no he can copy...like me" I looked to the side doing a small tch' a lego thing popped up throwing liquid at us. " let's go!!" "I can't I'm stuck!" I thought of a Quirk heating it up it melted releasing Kirishimas leg, " pull your leg!" as he pulled I cooled down his leg from overheat, "LET'S GO!!!"

"TIMES UP! that's the end of the second round, the cavalry battle!!" Present Mic announced I watched Katsuki faceplant into the ground pounding it with his fist, " HAHAHAHAHA--I-I mean are you okay" I crouched down helping him up I laughed clenching my stomach, " oh man that was amazing"

" First Place, Team Todoroki! in Second Place, Team Bakugo! Third Place, Tetsute--Huh? What, it's Team Shinso?! When did you come from behind?! And in Fourth Place Team Midoriya!" I smiled fanning myself I walked to Kirishima jumping on him, " DUDE! YOU WERE AWESOME OUT THERE!! It's been a while since I've seen someone be able to handle Katsukis explosive tantrums" I hung onto his neck laughing in the end, " you too, thanks for freeing me" I nod running up to Katsuki, " let's get some food" he shakes his head pointing the other direction, " I have to use the bathroom go on without me and here" he hands me my book slightly wet from his sweat "thanks" I left finding Yaoyorozu she waved at me calling me over I walked over to her greeting her, " want to eat with us Bakugo-chan?" "sure better than eating by myself, right?"
