Test 5: Throw Pitch

Everyone has such amazing quirks I watched one by one each student showing off their quirks in the most unexplainably amazing ways knowing I'll be last, again, I strolled to the back to think. What quirk should I use? I can't use the ice quirk that'll send the ball three inches away from me and using the cat quirk is going to give me the same result. Maybe if I use the tendril quirk it'll work or should I just use a persons quirk who showed the best result? Ugh!, " Hey little one! It's your turn" I stiffen hearing some people giggle behind me. Walking up to sensei I grip the beat-up ball, standing in the circle I stared at the ball taking a deep breath I thought of the octopus quirk guy I throw the ball as hard as I could.

I looked up seeing the ball a couple feet away from me, "38 meters!", "what the-", "thinking about using another person's quirk?" I turned facing the voice. Sensei looked different 'those goggles' I gasped now knowing who he is. "Eraserhead" barely a whisper came out of me as I was pulled close to him, " I don't want a do-over of a quirk I've already seen, thought I wouldn't notice? Use a different quirk or I'll fail you in this test. Figured being homeschooled your parents would have taught you better than to COPY a score" I felt the rope pull me closer his breath fanned over my face our chests almost touching made me nervous.

"use another quirk," he repeated he hands me a new ball. 'guess that tendrils quirk is a must now' though as amazing and handy that quirk is it also hurts to use it at times because of it's size."Today" having a sports bra has its perks sometimes I removed my uniform shirt hearing some guys holler at me but was shut up by Katsuki. A tendril pierced out of my skin knowing all too well about the new scar it'll leave behind. Grabbing the ball with the tendril I position myself one foot back one foot in place. And off the ball went to the air creating 4 rings, "851.2 meters!"

People cheered some whistled the tendrils sank back into my body warm blood ran down my back I grabbed my shirt, " may I go to the nurse's office?" I spoke tiredly right before passing out.

Izuku pov:

I watched (y/n) fall in front of Aizawa Sensei he caught her picking her up, " Iida! Take Bakugo and Midoriya to Recovery Girl" Iida runs up to him wrapping his arms around her, 'I should be the one holding her not him' Iida came up to me leading me to Recovery Girls office, " her quirk is stupendous but it still confuses me" I hum listening to what he had to say about (y/n), " was she born with multiple quirks?" I shake my head, " her quirk is copy. She gets the quirk by making contact with the person and instead of disappearing it actually stays with her until she decides to get rid of it" I thought of my hero book (y/n) being the second person I wrote about when I was just a kid, " you two seem close are you two friends?" I nodded opening the door "kacchan was actually the person who introduced me to her" he 'ohs' laying her on her side, " I hope you both get better, goodbye"

I say down beside (y/n) taking in how much she's grown, " you've grown beautifully sadly I can't tell you this when you're awake, you make me so nervous around you" I spoke caressing her face. Her cheeks soft to the touch and delicate lips. Her long (or short) hair rested on the bed streaming like a raging fire, unlike kacchans spiky hair, hers was calm and soft like touching a rose petal plus the adorable nose she has,"are you going to keep on staring at her or are you going to let me heal you?" I face the pro hero her small form scared me. My face becoming hotter each second passing. "its alright I can see that you like this girl take care of her" I nod showing my finger her lips made contact with my finger then bandaging it up, " all done! you can go now" she hands me a lollipop I turned to (y/n) moving her hair to the side, 'get better, please'

Hours later

(y/n) pov:
"Mmmm...everything hurts" "that's a good thing dear now eat some candy" I laid on my back hissing at the pain," oh yes you'll need to be careful rest should help heal it so try not to strain yourself" I sat up reaching for the candy, " what time is it?" I scratched my head looking around for a clock, "well it should be lunch time right now" I smile hearing the words "lunchtime" throwing my legs to the side of the bed I stood up wobbling a bit, "careful now don't want you getting even more hurt" "thank you for healing me and I'll be sure to be careful" she nods jumping on to her chair spinning around to the computer typing, "Bye!" "bye"

The hallway was empty no students were anywhere in sight, "well better than a traffic jam" " Bakugo what are you still doing here?" I turn around seeing Aizawa sensei holding a bag, " oh I was going to get lunch with everyone else" " lunch? It's too late for that the school day is over" 'HUH?! SHE LIED TO ME!!!'

"R-right I'll go change and head home" "you haven't finished your physical test might as well finish it now than later" "but I want to go home" I whispered hearing my stomach growl, "here, now come, it isn't much so you'll be fine" he hands me a sandwich leading me back out to the field, " it'll take 5 minutes"

:30 minutes later:

" you finished in 10th place the expulsion was a lie just so you know" I laid on my stomach huffing, " I knew that already, I'm maybe an idiot but I'm not stupid" he hums kicking my side lightly, "come on it's time for you to go home"

Changing clothes I held my tie in my hand walking out the school, "so tired" on a bench, I could see the familiar blonde hair, "took you long enough and cover up you're showing more than needed" I spin around buttoning up my short and faced Katsuki, "here's some (favorite/food) figured you might be hungry" he hands me the bag thanking him I devoured the food sighing happily, "so why did you stay? You could have gone home you know?" he 'tch' looking to the side as we walked home, " that old hag would have questioned me why you're not with me and I ain't planning to get in trouble already"I smiled bumping my hip with Katsuki's, " you're such a good brother Katsuki~"I teased his usual rude behavior isn't around him when we're alone he turns to a nicer person, "shut up or I'll poison that dog of yours" he threatens but I already knew he wasn't serious... I hope." hope mom made curry today I'm in the mood for some spicy food"

"better not eat all of it like last time" he growls a meow caught my attention as Katsuki kept walking. A box moved and meowed again I stared at the box I tapped the box with my shoe receiving a meow back opening the box I gasped. A small kitten shivered in a worn out blanket its fur all dirty and crust on its small eyes, I noticed the white paw being the only colour besides black on its fur." what are you looking at idiot?" Katsuki looked in the box, " it's weak it's going to die soon just leave it" I sat on my legs taking off my backpack. I searched through it finding Katsukis sweater, " why do you still have my sweater?!" "it's comfy!!" I pull the shivering kitten out of the box and in the newly sewn sweater it stopped shivering purring quietly in my arms, " leave.it and give me my sweater!" I get up throwing my backpack on, "no they're coming home with us you'll never know maybe he or she will be a great guard cat" he snorts staring at the petit cat, "a guard cat? You must have lost a lot of blood to be this stupid" "ha ha ha let's see if mom would say differently then"

Once we got home we left our bags by the door with our shoes the kitten still purring in my arms, " hey you old hag (y/n) brought home a half-dead rat!!" "stop calling me that! And why" "first of all it's not a rat it's a kitten and it's not half dead" I spoke showing mom the kitten, "can we keep it?" she sighs nodding her head, "first give it a bath and I'll take it to the vet to see if it's healthy"

Running up the stairs pattering on the floor can be heard, "Tobi look what I found" the large dog walks up to the kitten sniffing it he barks sticking his tongue out smiling, " just needs a bath, food, and rest"I smiled.

Done! The first day of school was a half success and a new pet in the family!
