41. Finally!

"(Y/n)-chan are you okay?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Well you're....um you're kinda in Fox mode?"

"What?" I turned around finding a fluffy tail waving around. I touched my head feeling the large extended ears.

'Fuck'

I glance to Jiro waving my hands a sweatdrop appeared as I explained why. "It just happens at random moments when I smell familiar things"

"Well, we have been eating Curry for the last 3 days, so I guess I would react the same"

We laughed going back to stirring the pots. My smile dropped when I caught a heavy whiff of the air smelling...my teddy bear? What the hell? I hummed finishing up my pot placing it on the table with the other finished pots, "Alright dinners ready!"

Everyone crowded the pots with a plate in hand, I stepped back from the hungry students catching a whiff of the scent again. Knowing myself if I don't go finding the source it'll bug me to no extent. I glanced at the students before sneaking away to the forest. I tilted my head back sniffing for the direction, straight ahead. I walked forward looking around for maybe the person who's been giving me the letters and the bear.

"Where is it?"

I muttered looking around the trees. That's when I found it, the scent was just behind the tree. I felt my blood pump now that I can finally see who's the secret lover. I placed my hand on the tree trunk and just as I was about to walk around it someone stopped me mid-track, "(Y/n)-chan? What are you doing?"

I quickly turned around but relaxed seeing Ojiro-kun and Sero-kun, " Hey guys I was just--okay this might sound weird but I caught a whiff of my teddy bear? Please tell me that makes sense"

"That makes no sense (Y/n)-chan"

Sero laughed walking up to me grabbing my hand, "Come on everyone's already got their portion Mineta's trying to get seconds"

I nod glancing back at the tree but shook the thought away, so close yet so far. I grabbed Ojiro's hand dragging him along with Sero dragging me, " So how's the training coming for you two?"I asked.

"My tail hurts but I'm learning well"

"My elbows are killing me I feel like my arms are about to snap"

"Oh, I feel you Aizawa Sensei has been working on quickening my pace to change between Quirk usage so I don't get tired as easily. Although we mostly do Wing carries which makes no sense to me other than strength purposes"

"Is that what you call it? I feel like one of these days you're going to drop the rocks on one of us"

Ojiro chuckles clenching my hand shivering at the thought, "I wouldn't drop it on accident just know that"

"Remind me not to get on your bad side"

We laughed all the way to the camp tables, Sero and Ojiro went back to their tables as I went to the cooker pots. I grabbed my plate pouring myself a generous amount, "Hungry much?" I sighed anger not wanting to deal with this blonde masochist but here we go.

"A girls got to eat, Monoma and besides I'm practicing for a future eating challenge"

"Eating challenge? What? Race to the obese?"

"I'd watch that mouth of yours blondie remember I'm the better Copy Quirk user compared to you"

"Just cause you can store them and I can't doesn't make you better 1-A"

"As the 21st student, I'd beg to differ"

I strolled away from the boy with a triumphant smile knowing I won that battle with the obnoxious blonde. "(Y/n)-chan! Over here!"

Uraraka waves her hands catching my attention. I waddled over to her sitting on the edge of the table, "Are you excited for the games tonight, kero?"

"I heard we're going to be paired in teams of two"

"Great, so I'm going to be an extra person like usual, " I grumbled eating the mountain of rice I had on my plate. Uraraka pats my shoulder eating her portion, "Why'd you get so much, kero?"

"I'm practicing for a future eating challenge"

"Future eating challenge? Oh! Can it be the yearly eating contest in Esuha City?"

"Mhm--At the Takoyaki Restaurant, I'm so going to win the crown this year for sure! I can feel it in my gut!"

I smiled holding my fist up in future victory and just when I thought I was being cool for once my stomach growled loudly getting everyone's attention. I inhaled heavily bringing my hand down, "I think your stomach just agreed with you, kero"

"Or made a declaration to your challengers, pfft"

Uraraka laughed finishing up her food pushing it forward. I finished up downing my water and clapped my hands other, "The food today was so much better tasting than yesterday"

"Come on the game is about to start I can't wait to see who is who's partner"

"I don't know if I'll join I don't want to third wheel anyones partners"

"I'm sure if it comes to that they'll arrange a sensei or one of the PussyCats to partner up with you, Kero"

"Or you can join one of us when we're all partnered up"

"Why are we discussing it as if it's already decided?!"

We followed the adults to the middle of the forest along with 1-B mixed in with us. I caught a glimpse of Monoma starting at me, within seconds we glared at each other from a distance. Sometimes I wonder how a guy like him got into the hero course then again there's my brother who's much worse than he is.

"Alright, who's ready to test their bravery?!"

Pixie-Bob shouts waving her hands around in excitement. Some of us cheered screaming 'we are' until Aizawa Sensei walked in, "Before that, it pains me to say this but the extra lessons groups will be having class with me now"

"You've got to be kidding me!?!?"

Mina screamed in exasperation along with getting caught in Aizawa Sensei's capture weapon. "Sorry but your training during the day wasn't good enough, so I have to use this time...(Y/n) this might be your lucky day"

"Eh?"

I tilt my head in confusion but said thanks either way. He nods dragging Sero, Mina, Kaminari, Kirishima, and Satou to the building. I turned to Uraraka with a questionable look. She shrugs nodding in Pixie-Bob's direction, "Okay, so Class B will be the first to be scarers. Class A will leave in pairs every three minutes, there are tags with your names written on them in the middle of the route. So bring those back with you"

"Revelry in the dark"

I hear Fumi-kun whisper out, isn't that the second time he said that? I snicker behind Uraraka trying my best to not be heard by the said bird.

"Those being the scarers aren't allowed to make direct contact, show us how scary you are with your Quirks"

Alright, I can already think of a few scary Quirks when it's our turn to scare. I can try out Nightmare for once or maybe that'll be too much for their hearts to take.

"Now, you'll draw lots to determine your partners!"

I already knew the outcome of this so I just watched everyone grab a piece of paper already partnering up, "Little kitten you haven't gotten a number here it's the last one, go find your partner!"

"EH?! I HAVE A PARTNER?!"

I swiped the paper from her claws looking at the number" Anybody got a number 8?" Izuku called out waving his number above his head. The tears of happiness poured out as I tackled Izuku screaming, "I FINALLY HAVE A PARTNER!!"
