43. Fake

The tiny fox huffs licking it's paw sitting comfortably on the grass, "Fine I'm sorry just help me in whatever you can do!"

Its eyes began to glow blue jumping into my arms. I held it close staring back the few seconds we shared staring into each other's eyes the flames began to get hotter. The fox yips licking my nose before ascending into me. I stared at my hands as my nails grew to claws, ears and a tail shot out in the purest white glowing.

My arms lined of blue glowing under the sweater. I turned around jumping into the tree seeing the guy still shooting flames in where I last stood. Without making a sound I leaped to the next tree all the way around until I was behind him. Not waiting a second I dashed baring my fangs at the guy. I jumped on his back hardening my arm again punching his head into the earth. The ground cracked around his head, "That honestly hurt, toots"

"How are you still alive?!"

"Sheer luck, now get off or I'm going to punish you"

His hand flips bursting out flames I jump off getting mild burns, I'm starting to reach my limit but I can't stop now! I raised up my hands clenching them tightly I screamed throwing punches I got some good ones in but it wasn't enough. It was like he can't feel pain or something.

I growled sparking my hands this is the last attack I can do, if this doesn't work then I have to run for the building cause I can't be out here passing out. I raised my hands saying the famous words, "DIE!!!"

I jumped at the guy letting out the burst of the explosion onto his face the air around us blew back a tree or two lifting dust. My hands trembled in pain the guy was knocked into a tree. I staggered on my feet feeling light-headed. The fox jumped out of my chest dropping on the ground huffing heavily, "Oh crap did I strain you?!"

I picked up the fox holding it close. The fox yips licking my cheek disappearing back to the spirit world. "Damn I didn't even get to say thanks"

I cautiously got closer to the guy kicking his foot to see if he really is unconscious but just as I was about to kick it for the second time he began to melt into mud.

'What the hell? Did he have two Quirks? Yeah that's not my problem anymore right now I need to go and check Izuku and Kota'

I looked up the cliff not really seeing anything but I was able to hear some shouts here and there. I shot out two tendrils climbing the cliff, I reached the top huffing finding the both of them alright, "(Y/n)-chan! You're okay!"

"Barely that guy was tougher than I thought and it was a fake as it seems"

I cracked my back sighing I notice Kota holding the damaged butterfly whispering a thank you. I smiled pulling him into a hug, "I'm glad you're okay Kota you had us worried. Come on let's go back to the building and heal you up I would but I'm close to passing out" I cupped his cheeks he nods looking down at the damaged butterfly.

I laid my hand over it reviving the shattered butterfly. The butterfly stands up flapping its wings making Kota smile. I tapped its wing turning it into a pin, "There we go it'll protect you twice as much now let's really get a move on before another villain comes by"

I take off my sweater tying it around my waist I looked at the boy's deadpanning at their nervous reactions, "Guys calm down it's just a sports bra" I sprout my wings along with two tendrils. I wrapped my arms around Kota while my tendrils carefully hold Izuku.

"Ready?"

"Yeah let's go!"

I flapped my wings flying as high as I can holding the guys carefully. "Are you feeling any pain Izuku?"

"No, I'm fine right now I think the adrenaline is keeping me up"

"That's good hopefully Aizawa Sensei can patch you up or someone who has medical experience"

"Hopefully but how are you feeling I can see the burn marks on your body"

"Burnt and a little heartbroken I will admit"

"What why?

"Remember the teddy bear I got from the secret admirer I was telling you about in class?"

"Yeah?..."

"He was the one who I fought against after this I'm destroying that bear"

"Maybe it's for better...(Y/n)-chan there's a reason the villains are here they're here for--LOOK OUT!!"

I felt something stab into my thigh making me wince. I looked down at it realizing it's a tranquilizer, the black liquid went in instantly working. My body felt warm becoming weak, "(Y/n)-chan?!"

I felt the air rush around me falling my wings and tendrils disappeared as we free fall into the trees. My body slammed into the branches braking a few before crashing into the dirt face first. My body twitched in the dirt not being able to move a muscle, "(Y/n)-chan! Are you okay?!"

"Kinda... I can't move"

I teared up feeling the pain surge throughout my body, I felt the cut I got from the branches on my stomach. "Izuku get Kota to the building it's nearby I'll be fine"

"N-No you have to get up I refuse to leave you here!"

Kota tried picking me up but just rolled me onto my side. Tears rolled down his face landing on mine. All I could do was smile and tell him everything was going to be alright, " Kota be strong for the both of us I promise that you'll see me after all of this is over healthy and all"

"Damn right you are"

The gruff voice made my heart jump a sense of bliss rushed over my pained body as I chuckled, "Aizawa Sensei! (Y/n) got shot with a tranquilizer please watch Kota and (Y/n) I need to tell Mandalay everything I know!"

"Midoriya wait... Those injuring you did it again, didn't you? Did you forget about what happened in Hosu?"

Aizawa Sensei must be talking about the Stain attack and what came after it. I was passed out so I have no idea what they're talking about. "So tell Mandalay this"Everyone in Class A and B are granted permission to engage combat, in the name of Pro Hero Eraserhead" go!"
