40. Shrunk

I glanced down at Kota noticing he fell asleep on me. I smiled picking him up and made my way down the mountain coming across some people. Izuku noticed first asking if Kota was okay. I nod glancing down at the tired child, "He's just tired by any chance do you know where his room is?"

I asked Pixie-Bob rushed up to me noticing Kota sleeping in my arms. She tells me where his room is and to be careful. I nod hurrying inside the building his room was a little confusing to find but I managed and opened the door. The room was pretty much how I expected it to be slightly messy and the bedsheets nowhere to be found.

I place Kota on the bed taking his hat off putting it on the dresser, I notice a picture with a couple smiling happily the woman was pregnant and the guy was holding her close. I pressed my lips together getting some idea as to why Kota was crying earlier. I turned to Kota pushing his hair to the side running my finger on his red cheek.

'What happened Kota?'

I shook my head leaving the room quietly closing the door. There's no way am I going to invade his memories to know what happened. Stupid brain being curious if I didn't need you I would've shanked you about 20 times. I reached the exit bumping into Iida, "Ah (Y/n)-chan we're done for today, we're going to start dinner and then test our bravery"

He raises his hand waving it around like he usually does. Kirishima popped up behind him chanting bravery over and over, "Can't wait just seeing Kirishima get excited is making me all bubbly!"

I smiled up at Iida he does the same pointing at my head, "Is that Kota's hat? (Y/n)-chan you should know better than to steal another person's personal item"

"It is Kota's hat but it's only a copy I liked it so I copied it"

"I suppose if it's a copy it's okay but still you can be framed for robbery if you're not careful enough"

".... You know in a way... You just told me I can cheat on tests... Thanks, class rep.!!"

I smiled running off to the shared rooms laughing at Iidas shouts. I wouldn't cheat on tests who do you think I am Kaminari? I opened the door greeting Jiro and Mina, "(Y/n)-chan! We were just going to look for you"

"Yeah? For what?"

"Well once you're done changing we're going to be in groups for when we're cooking and Iida put us on stirring duty"

"Alright I'll be down in a bit"

I gave them a thumbs up shimming inside closing the door behind them. I grabbed my bag going through it for anything comfortable to wear for the bravery game. I pull out Katsuki's sweater and a pair of leggings nodding at the choice of clothing.

After taking a quick shower I changed and placed on Kota's hat. I rushed outside greeting the people outside barely starting the dinner. I stood by Mina asking what we're doing, "We're waiting for Jiro to get a few more pots for us"

Just as she said that Jiro jogs up to us holding four pots handing them to us. I grabbed two dropping them on the stoves I stepped back pushing up my sleeves, "A bit of fire to get us started"

My left hand created a small ball of fire creating a trail in the stove. I felt a tap on my shoulder getting my attention, "(Y/n)-chan can you lend me a hand over in my side?"

Uraraka claps her hands together smiling nervously, I nod going over to her side seeing my brother explode the stove. I held in my laugh watching him shout at Todoroki, "My stove is over here"

I followed her to her stove bending down the logs were already in just waiting to light on fire. I held out my hand lighting up a piece of wood tossing it in. Uraraka thanks me grabbing my hand, "No problem--"

"What the hell happened to my sweater?!"

"Huh? Oh, it shrunk in the wash but it still fits!"

Katsuki glares at Uraraka somehow knowing it was her fault. Nothing ever goes by this hothead I swear. It wasn't like she meant it either it just happened.

Flashback

"(Y/n)-chan! Do you want us to wash your sweater?"

Uraraka asked Tsu-chan stood by her holding a basket of the girl's clothes. I mean the sweater does need a bit of cleaning what's the worse that can happen. "Sure here you go please be careful with it," They nod taking my sweater from my hands leaving me shivering in place.

One hour later

"...."

I held up my once large sweater confused on how can one mess up this badly, "I'm so sorry I left it in the drier longer than its intentional time! Please forgive me!"

I just blinked wondering how Katsuki will react to his sweater shrunken to my size, "It's okay Uraraka-chan look"

I put on the sweater smiling at her even giving her a twirl just for the heck of it, "It still fits me, see? Although I can't say Katsuki will be as okay as I am with it now being a body revealer"

"I'm still sorry is there like a store nearby so I can get you another--"

"Girl it's fine really at least now it's my size"

Flashback over

"Katsuki, everyone makes mistakes don't be mad"

He just growls marching away to the table cutting up some veggies, "Thought he was going to explode... Literally"

Todoroki whispered glancing at me. I just sighed looking at Katsuki, "So did I well back to work" I waddled to the other side finding some veggies already chopped up ready to be placed in the pot. I grabbed the closest cutting board dumping the veggies in the first pot, carefully placing the top on and did the same to the others.
