23. I'll Fix You

(Y/n) pov:
"AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!" I step out of the ice starring intensely at Todoroki," twice...twice you have buried me alive" my left eye twitched I raised two fingers at him he shot another ice attack but was blown away by the fire. I walked slowly at him raising my hand every now and then swiping fire against his ice attacks,"you're not going to say sorry?" He stays quiet running up to me his face showing no emotion but I could tell he had a lot in his mind.

I create fire balls shooting them to Todoroki. He shields himself blocking my path," thinking now, are we?~" I giggled punching my way through the ice wall getting a grip on his uniform. I pulled him out slamming him to the ground giving a good punch in his face I make a fire ball but was blocked. I step away getting a good distance from him." I'm sure you know by now, but, I have to win" trails of fire make their way to Todoroki like hungry snakes capturing their prey after missing their meal for a week. He dodges them as I made more he jumps over them throwing another wave of ice at me. I use the fire in the bowls to explode a large amount of heat melting a hole in it.

I ran towards him my smile never fading my hand light up on fire reaching to him. He dodges grabbing my wrist he iced it kicking me to the edge. I stop inches away laughing it off," you almost got me there~" I face him melting the ice growing off me,"I refuse to let you win Bakugo-chan. Thanks to you being yourself, you've reached my old mans expectations" he looks to the side I glance back his father was staring intensely at me. Him. Us? I didn't know at this point so I just ignored it," let's give him a show. Show me those flames Todoroki! I also refuse to let you win with only half your power!" I pointed at him grinning like a maniac I attacked him slashing the fire whips at him as he blocked them with ice," come on I'll tempt you if I have to!!" His eyes widen as his teeth grind each other," no! I just don't know anymore if it's right or wrong. If I should be proud or not. If I can bring myself to face the truth-" "shut up, just shut up. You're being selfish at this point everyone is giving their all. Why should you act like a poor boy? I bet there's someone else out there having a terrible life"

"If anything I think you were lucky to be somewhat supported to become a hero. I'm sorry for reading you mind by the way reading your "back story".... I wasn't supported like you, mother hated the thought of it she still does till this day" I clenched my hands remembering the days she would tell me that there no good in becoming a hero. Yet was fine with Katsuki becoming one. "I'll just end it here. I'm sorry if your goal was to reach the end" I held up my hands my palms facing him as they glowed my eyes change from a bright orange to blue. Fire crawling on the side of my face they form swirls to the tips of my fingers. Fire rages out of the palms I felt the pressure of the wind knowing it met his ice. The wind was powerful but I held my place groaning at the burn marks on my fingers.

The wind lightened leaving black smoke to rise,"I CANT SEE ANYTHING!!!! WHO WON?!?" I fell on my back heaving for air the swirls disappear leaving a burning mark from where they once were. I throw my arm on my eyes just hoping he got out by that turbo charge," Bakugo are you alright?" I give Midnight a thumbs up getting a cheer from everyone around me," Bakugo reaches the final round we will take a break to repair the damages" I sat up hitching at the pain. I took a deep breath passing a healing Quirk to recover my body injuries. I got up swaying a little steadying myself,"are you sure you are okay?" I nod giving Midnight a smile walking off the podium. I glance at Todoroki his body was found in a rumble of ice his uniform slightly burned," guess he didn't use his other Quirk in time" I murmured going up the steps. I looked down processing what just happened," Spectacular. Amazing. I thought that Quirk looked familiar. Trying to impress your future father-in-law?" ," you broke him...didn't you?" Endeavor frowns at my words getting up from his spot I kept my head down walking by him stopping right next to him," you broke him and now he can't act like a normal person. Making him do your desires. Forcing him to become someone he doesn't want to be. I'll help him. I'll fix him. And that Quirk, it's not yours, I'd rather be Quirkless than use yours to save my life"

I walked up the stairs to the stands sitting in the back. I looked down at my slight burned but healed hands thinking. Thinking if Todoroki really is that broke, all he needs is a friend a person to hear his voice. Someone who will give their time to him. I'll try. What hero would I be if I can't help a fellow classmate.
