36.Camp

I picked at my food on the dinner table slumping on my seat as my parents talked about whatever they thought of. I silently sigh to myself still slightly shocked over the idea of Great Grandpa transferring his quirk to me before I was even born.

To be honest it actually makes me wonder if he did transfer the quirk to me on purpose or it was out of luck it attached to me instead of Katsuki.

What was the cause of this to happen? Was he in danger at the time that forced him to transfer his quirk to me? I will probably never know the true answer but seeing as how dad said he'll tell me more if I ask him personally put my thoughts in ease.

It beats being clueless over this newly found quirk and now that I think why did it just show up now when it could have appeared when we were at the age of quirks appearing?

"So how did the doctors go? Did the doctors help?"

"Huh?--y-yeah they said it will pass on over time... So nothing to worry about"

"Well, that's good to hear! And have you both packed your stuff for the camp, (Y/n)? Katsuki?"

Katsuki growled getting an instant smack on the head by mom. They barked at each other until dinner was over. I place my plate in the sink almost tripping over the tiny kitten running circles around my feet."Sock I could have stepped on you, you need a bell or something"

He just meows running off to the living room. I sigh feeling another twitch, "ow" I placed my hand on the spot that twitch noticing someone is staring at me.

"I don't believe what you told mom, did you really go to the doctors?"

"I did now move"

Katsuki glared at me blocking the exit of the kitchen I quickly teleport into my room locking it, in case Katsuki did decide to chase me, in which he did.

"(Y/n)! Open this door right now!"

"Katsuki stop yelling and leave my little baby alone!"

I hear mom shout from one side of the house getting an angry grunt from the teenage boy, "Don't think this is over idiot"

'This is going to be a long summer camp'

I fix my tie straightening out my skirt along with a scan over on my body through my large body mirror. I still get the twitches now and then but in a way it is going away.

I put on my backpack pulling along my suitcase on wheels that was filled to almost popping in seconds behind me.

Tobi runs into the room barking loudly at me, "what's up Tobi?" He barks again now standing on his hind legs towering over me as he drops all his weight on me.

"Tobi! Nooo..."

"What the fuck are you doing with that mutt? Hurry up dad isn't going to wait for us!"

"Come on Tobi get off I'll see you in a couple days okay?"

Tobi stands up whining lowering his head. I pet his head giving a small kiss on it running down the stairway to the driveway. Throwing my stuff in the back I jump in my seat mentally preparing myself for the camp pain.

Throughout the car ride, Katsuki mentally argued with me clenching his hands on his lap angrily glaring at me. Honestly, I don't know why I let it happened but I did and I was this close to opening the car door and shoving him in the street.

But I didn't have enough time seeing as how we are finally at the school gates. Taking out our stuff we waved goodbye to our parents as they drove away. "We're alone now. Now tell me the truth (Y/n)"

"I did tell you the truth Katsuki you're just believing that I'm not" we meet up at the spot our beloved tired teacher told us to wait as we join the class that was near the charter bus.

"(Y/n)-chan! Are you ready for the trip?!"

Mina shouts in my face bouncing in place. I simply giggle nodding at her excitement, "yeah! I can't wait to get sweaty and slightly broken"

A shiver goes over me startling Mina, "Eh! S-Sorry I've been taking....medication, yeah! For my stomach"

"Oh, I hope you get better (Y/n)-chan!"

Mina runs off joining the others finally letting me breathe. I notice another class walking up to us along with the familiar blonde idiot, "what! There are students in your class taking extra classes!"

'Really this guy?'

I sigh knowing this camp trip will be three times worse than it was originally planned. Iida calls us on the bus rotating his arms in a weird fashion, then again when doesn't he?

The seating arrangements were the same as last time so my bus buddy was Tokoyami. "Do you want the window or the edge?" He asked before it was our turn on the bus.

"Uh whichever is fine I don't mind"

"Alright I choose window"

Boarding the bus we all got comfortable talking amongst ourselves before the trip began. The bus began to move exciting everyone as we get on the road. A couple of hours went by and it went dead silent. Surprisingly it was kinda scary, to be honest. I lean back kicking off my shoes stretching in my seat.

Dark shadow pops out curling up on my lap. I pet around its head hearing satisfied chirpings. Tokoyami glance at me then to the window. For a long trip, I was prepared. I take out my bag from under me taking out a few snacks. "Tokoyami you want some?"

"Sure"

Throughout the ride, we ate snacks talked, and tossed a few snack bits at Dark shadow to catch. Our bus stopped getting a few of us to look out the window."This must be the midway point"

We all exit stretching out our muscles. I looked around our resting area, which doesn't really look like one. I lean on the railing instantly regretting it. A steep hill covered in rocks was the only ground I can see other than the sea of trees. Backing away I bump into a broad chest startling me.

I slowly turned around finding Todoroki who was just staring deep into my eyes, "Uh..s-sorry I bumped into you"

"It's fine are you afraid of heights?"

"No, I actually love to fly high distances it just took me by surprise when I looked down that's all"

He nods as we see a black car park next to us seeming suspicious but didn't think much of it since Aizawa sensei didn't act upon it.

The car opens revealing two color-coded people dressed similarly to cats and a little kid not look at all excited, "Lock on with these sparkling gazes"

"Stingingly cute and cat-like!"

"Wild Wild Pussycats"

"...uhh?" After that little intro, Aizawa explained what they were going to do with us throughout the camp. I found it interesting how the blue one gripped Izuku on the face screaming 18 by heart when he was about to shout how many expeditions they've been on. Scary.

"Nice to meet you!"

The red one nods at our greeting turning sideways presenting us the large forest, "We own this whole stretch of land here. You all will be staying at the foot of that mountain" she points at the distant spot making us confused, "It's so far away... Why do I have a bad feeling about this?"
