"So, that's it," I said after explaining what happened yesterday.

Sinabi ko talaga lahat kahit na alam kong maiinis sila sa akin. I never missed a bit. Mas magtatampo sila kapag hindi ko sinabi ang totoong nangyari sa akin sa ibang mundo. And besides, I trust them.

Nakatulala lamang silang dalawa sa akin at pinu-proseso ang bawat impormasyong binahagi ko. They were both thinking deeply and their silence are killing me.

Umiling ako. "No, okay na ako roon," agad na pagtutol ko sa gusto nila.

"Okay? Are you seriously okay with what you encountered yesterday, ha, Ashley?" kalmado pero mariin na tanong ni Aci.

"Acieve—"

"Don't you dare call me with my name," banta niya.

I sighed. Very typical of him.

"Acieve McKnight."

He glared at me after calling him by his real full name.

“What happened was something I am not in control of. Yesterday was—”

He cut me off, “Yesterday was a sign that what you're trying to do isn't a good idea and that what you want isn't what you need. Nakayuko kong pinagmasdan ang mga damo sa harapan ko. He was right. I know that everyone around me was right about the fact that I never belong anywhere else but here.
