The amount of comments from you guys was perfection :) I expect to see that after every chapter or no updates for you! Alright, to the story.
Ellie's POV
We get in the car and I turn on the radio because of the awkward silence that goes through the car.
A Katy Perry song that I don't recognize comes on. I turn it up a little and Luke looks at me for a second before his eyes go back to the road.
"How far along are you?" he asks. "What?" I reply. He caught me off guard a little. I look down at my feet. "I said, how far along are you?" he asks. I can't exactly tell if he is mad, I don't want to look because I fear his anger. I would rather curl up in his sweatshirt.
"I don't know," I reply. He nods. "I hope it isn't four months," he says, "I don't want to miss the birth of my child." I look up. He is smiling.
"I would know if it was four months," I say. Wouldn't I? I have been noticing a weight gain, it isn't huge though. I should probably eat more.
"I-I don't know if I'm ready Luke," I admit, "I didn't want a kid yet. I didn't think I would ever had a kid. I don't know if I'll be a good mum. I don't know what a good mum is like."
"Ellie, we'll be fine," he says. "Luke, you know what just happened," I tell him, "We're newly weds, and we aren't exactly ready yet. I don't think we'll be good parents."
"Ellie, we'll be great," he says, "Come on, I'm sure we'll be fine, and last night was my terrible mistake and I'll never do it again Ellie. I love you." I look up and smile. "Thanks Luke," I say.
"Now, what are we going to name this little bugger?" Luke asks, laying his free hand on my stomach. "Oh, I don't know," I say, "I don't even know what it is." "I like Lukey Poo Junior still," he says. I slap his arm playfully. "Oh hush," I tell him.
We finally arrive at the hospital and go into the unit that the lady tells us to go to. We sit in the waiting room holding hands.
"Ellie Hemmings?" a woman says in a warm voice as she walks in. "That would be me," I say, standing up. Luke stands beside me, towering over both me and the woman. "Right this way," she says. We walk into a room and she tells us to wait for the doctor.
I look at Luke. "Well, this is exciting," I say. He smiles and squeezes my hand. "Yeah," he says. A lady comes in and she smiles.
"Alright Ellie," she says, "Do you know how far along you are?" "No," I reply. "Alright, we're going to take a look at the baby then and find out," she says, "You just find out this recently?" "Last night actually, that's why we came," I tell her, "We aren't sure how far I am."
"Okay," she says. She takes out a jar of blue, gushy stuff. "Pull your shirt up a little," she tells me, "I'm going to put this on it and then run a machine over your stomach, it'll create the image of your baby on the screen. It's going to be cold though."
I nod and Luke squeezes my hand a little and she begins to run the stuff on my stomach, and it is extremely cold. Once it is all on, she runs this thing over my stomach. An image pops up on the screen and she looks at it and gasps. "Oh boy," she says.
"What?" Luke asks. "Umm, I'm going to have Dr. Marconi come in," she says before running off.
I look at Luke with fear in my eyes. "What's wrong?" I ask him. "I don't know," he says. "What's wrong with my baby!" I shout, breathing hard. Luke squeezes my hand and rubs circles in the back of it.
"Lukey," I whine. "It's okay, I'm sure it's nothing," he says, "You probably just have to eat more." I nod, though he isn't convincing himself, and he is definitely not convincing me.
A man comes back in with the lady and puts the thing over my stomach. He sighs.
"Well, I have some news," he says, "You're three months pregnant." "So I'll be there when you give birth," Luke sighs, smiling.
"And you need to gain a lot more weight and soon," he adds, "And you'll need vitamins, which I will give you before you leave. Also, because of what has happened to you previously, this may result in a miscarriage, but it is much more unlikely since you are getting pretty far along."
Luke and I both sigh in relief.
"So, is it a boy or a girl?" Luke asks. "It's a girl," he tells us.
Luke smiles harder. He's always wanted a little girl, a cute little girl, but he's never said it to me. I personally wouldn't care what gender, I'm cool with either, they are both cute.
"And a boy," he adds.
My jaw drops. "Wh-What do you m-mean?" I stutter.
"You're having twins," he says, "A boy and a girl."
I look over at Luke and can't tell is he is happy or mad. Before I can do anything, he falls onto the tile floor, face first.
"Luke!" I scream.
The doctor drops to the ground and checks his pulse. "He's fine," he sighs, "He just passed out. We'll take you two to another room, so you can talk when he comes around."
I nod and the woman gently rubs the blue stuff off of my stomach. "It'll all work out," she says, "And like he said, he'll be around when you give birth. You'll be just fine. I had triplets, all in labor. Trust me, nothing feels as nice as bringing another life onto this world."
I just nod as I listen. I then follow her back to the room where Luke was taken.
I sit down beside his bed and the woman leaves, shutting the door behind her. I take his hand and cry.
I don't cry because I don't want children.
I cry because I'm so confused. This was supposed to be impossible. And now twins? How will this work with Luke's career? What if I miscarriage? How do I tell everyone that I'm three months pregnant, and with twins? What will the world say? What will the fans do?
I don't know.

Luke's POV
I eventually wake up, but I keep my eyes shut because I'm living such an odd reality.
And loving it?
Yeah, I know it sounds odd, pretending to be passed out beside my crying wife who is pregnant with twins while I'm on tour and to add onto it, I didn't want kids at the time.
But in reality, it's great. My wife is pregnant with twins, even though she isn't supposed to be able to be pregnant. We can have the children we dreamed of now. Who cares if I didn't want kids at the time.
And the tour, oh the tour! It is so much fun, and now I'll have more money for Ellie and the kids
This is a dream come true, hell to the complications! I can't wait to hold Ellie and tell her everything I've figured out, how great this is in reality!
I lightly take her hand in mine. I'm about ready, this is amazing, she'll be so happy once she gets it.
