Chapter 14

Ellie's POV

"Mia, I can't be pregnant, remember what happened to me back in the high school? Its impossible, and we both know it, remember?"

"Come on Ellie, you probably aren't pregnant," Mia says, "I've just been seeing signs. Cravings, mood changes, you know. I'm just looking g out for you."

"I can't do it Mi, I don't want to be," I tell her. "Well, you ought to find out for sure,". she says. I sigh. "Give me the stick," I say. She hands me it and I take it.

The results take twelve hours, so it's going to be a while. We have to wait until one in the morning.

"Well, you want to sit around and worry or go out?" Mia asks. "Sit around and worry sounds about right for me," I say, smiling. "No, we're going to go to the carnival rather you like it or not, and besides, this was your first time having sex, Ashton and I have done it like ten times and I'm not pregnant," she says. "Whatever, let's go," I tell her.

We get into her car and drive to the carnival in Melbourne.

"Alright, I want some cotton candy," I tell her. "So do I, let's get some!" she exclaims. We buy a bag of it and eat it within a few minutes.

"Tilt-a-Whirl?" she asks. I nod and we get on it, though my nerves are still on end. It is so much fun, I scream and laugh, but I can't stop my hands from shaking. I don't want a baby, I'm not ready yet.

Mia looks at me when we get off. "You sure you're okay?" she asks. "Yeah, just nervous," I tell her. "El, come on, you are not pregnant, I just wanted to make sure, okay? You have never fucked with someone before, so you should be fine! Okay?"

"Yeah, I guess, how about the roller coaster?" I ask, looking at it with wide eyes. "Yeah, sounds great," she agrees. We run to it and after a short wait, are sitting down waiting for it to go.

As soon as it starts up the hill, I smile. I love roller coaster, I always have. Went on my first with Niall, we screamed our guts out, but it was a ton of fun. When it starts down hill, Mia and I scream and laugh as it continues.

When it is over, Mia looks at me. "Alright thrill-seeker, how about a tamer ride for me," she says, chuckling. "Fine," I groan. We go on the carousel and then sit down. I get a soda and Mia sits with her head between her knees.

"Hello girls, fancy seeing you two here," I hear a voice say. I look up to see Luke, Ashton, Mike, and Calum. "Hey guys," I say, smiling. "What's up, Mia?" Ashton asks, taking her hand. "The damn roller coaster, that's what," she says. He chuckles. "How about we go on something easy?" he asks. She nods and he puts his arm around her shoulder.

"So, a roller coaster," Calum says. "Yeah, wanna go on one?" I ask them. "Obviously, they're one of the only fun rides in the whole area," Mike replies. "Okay, let's go!" I exclaim, grabbing Luke's hand and dragging him toward it.

We get in line and go on the roller coaster again. It is really fun to watch Luke's face as we go down the first hill. I laugh at him and take his hand. Calum and Mike are screaming behind us, the noise makes my ears pound.

As soon as we get off, I laugh really hard. "Your face was priceless," I tell Luke. He pouts. "Don't be so mean," he whine.

I kiss him. "You're so irresistible when you make that face," I breath into his ear. "Ewww!" Michael screams. "As if you didn't do it with Lennie," Luke says, making him blush.

"Hey!" I hear Ashton shout. I turn around to see him and Mia. We walk over to them.

"We're going to go back to mine and do a livestream," Ashton says. "Oh yaaaayyyy I love live streams," Calum says, laughing. "We're not dressing up as turtles again, right?" Luke asks. "No," Mikey answers for him.

"Alright, I'll head over to Ellie's place," Mia says. We say our goodbyes and we start over to my car.

"What time is it?" I ask. She looks down at her phone. "Eleven," she says. Two hours. I groan and we start down the road.

"Wanna stop for ice cream or something?" I ask as I drive. "Yeah, let's do it," she says, laughing.

We stop at a little ice cream parlor and I walk up to the counter.

"One medium strawberry cone for me, and a chocolate one for her," I say, referring to Mia who is behind me texting Ashton.  "Alright," she says. They make the ice cream and then she rings me up.

I hand Mia her over cream cone. "They start the livestream yet?" I ask. She shakes her head. "No, they're almost ready though," she says before putting down her phone. She takes a huge bite of her ice cream and smiles. I do the same.

"This is really good," I say. She nods. "Tastes like heaven," she adds. They take a picture of us standing together, taking a bite of ice cream and say that it's going on the wall.

We leave satisfied.

"Time?" I ask as we pull into the drive way. "One o' seven," she says.

We run inside and I go into the bathroom and open the cabinet. "You okay?" Mia asks. "Yeah, I haven't looked at it yet," I tell her.

I honestly am scared to look at it.

I take a deep breath before pulling it out of the cabinet and looking at it.

I know it's short, but I wanted to give you this lovely cliffhanger!!!

The next chapter will be a LOT longer, so be prepared!  And there will be tons of drama because you know :)
