Chapter 30

Ellie's POV

I wake up beside Luke and snuggle a little closer to him. He looks over at me and smiles.

"Morning princess," he says, stretching his arms. "Morning," I yawn. "Concert tonight," he says, getting up.  My head flops off of his chest and onto the bed. "Thanks," I say.

"Ellie, it's already two in the afternoon," he says. I look at him funny. But I got up pretty early yesterday, and I was up late.

"Guess I'm up," I groan, sitting up. "That's the spirit," he says, smiling. I lightly slap his arm.

"02 Stadium," he sighs. I nod and kiss him. "Good luck babe," I say, smiling.

We walk downstairs where everyone is waiting. "We've gotta go Luke!" Michael yells. "I get it Mikey!" he yells back. I laugh at him.

"Well, I'll be going," Luke says, "See you later!"  He kisses my cheek and walks out the door with the other three boys.

I walk into the living room and Jaime sings, "I'm on cloud ni-ine!"  Now, Lennie and I look at her. I raise an eyebrow.

"Why?" I ask, confused. "Calum was the sweetest this morning," she says, "He got up super early to make me breakfast and it was amazing. Then, he cuddled with me and kept telling me how beautiful I was."

He really thinks that she might say no. I mean, Calum is nice and all, but Jaime always wakes up promptly at seven in the morning, so he would have to get up pretty early to get up before her and make breakfast.

"That's adorable," Mia says, smiling. "Totally," Lennie agrees. I nod in agreement.

"So girls, you ready to get your five sauce on?" Perrie sings as she walks into the living room. "Yeah, how's the second pregnancy coming?" I ask her.

"Lovely, how's yours?" she replies. "Feeling fat as fuck," I groan, leaning back, "Are the kids coking today?"

"No, tomorrow," she replies. "I'm so excited to see Marlee, she's the cutest," I say, smiling, "And Brian is my big boy." 

"Did you see Harry and Leigh Anne's engagement video?" she asks me. I nod. "It's sweet," I say.

Harry took Leigh Anne to some lovely spot by a river while they we in American and he proposed to her there. Niall got the whole thing on video, well, most of it. Being the ridiculous man he is, he turned the camera around a few times to show the internet world some lovely (ugly) selfie faces.

"We're off!" Niall shouts And he helps Bella down the stairs. She groans. "Fuck, this is terrible," she moans. "Have fun!" I exclaim. "Fuck Ellie, this isn't fun!" she shouts.

I couldn't help but take advantage of her hormonal state.

And it was worth it for the laughs.

"Well, I guess that's that," I say. "Good luck!" Perrie shouts as they both leave.

"Now let's get dressed!" Perrie squeals, taking our hands and forcing us upstairs where the other girls are at.

"I'm so excited, you all get to meet Chase tonight!" Jade exclaims. "That new boyfriend of yours?" I ask.

"Yeah...him," she says, smiling. "How long again?" Mia asks. "Two months, so basically we're set," "Awh, he hot?" Lennie asks. She nods. "Super hot," she says.

"And Daniel is coming," Jesy says. They got engaged a month ago. "Of course," Jaime says, smiling.

We walk into my room and Perrie finds me an outfit that looks decent of my fattness. We top it off with some really nice black stilettos.

Once everyone is dressed and ready to go, we head out.

"Good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught!" Lennie sings.

"Ah oh oh oh oh oh oh," I sing, smiling. The other join in. We all continue singing it until we arrive. We get out of the car and fight through fans before we get to the back door where we enter backstage.

"Hey Ashton!" Mia exclaims as we walk in. "Hey," he says before puffing out a breath of air and shaking his wrists.

"Nervous?" she asks. "A little," he admits. I can only imagine how bad Luke is.

"Hey Luke!" Leigh Anne exclaims. I turn around and see him. 

He looks sick, and he is shaking all over. "Lukey," I whisper.

I walk up to him and give him a hug. "God," he sighs. "Luke, you'll do just fine," I tell him, "I don't understand why you get so nervous!"

"Because they matter," he says, "If I screw up, that's money wasted for them. They expect an amazing show, and if I don't give them that, they'll be disappointed. In me."

"Luke, they love you all no matter what," I promise him. He takes a deep breath.

"Time to go," Michael says. "Ready Luke?" Calum asks, putting a firm hand on his shoulder. Luke nods. "Let's do this," he whispers. They go onto stage and pick up their instruments.

"Hello London, are you ready to rock?!" Ashton shouts into his microphone, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

They start up English Love Affair and I get a call.

"Hello?" I say. "Ellie, you have to get down to the hospital now," Niall says. "What?" I ask. "Ellie, Bella's baby is here early, we need you here," he says.

"Niall, the concert just started!" I exclaim. "We need you," he says.

Luke's POV

I look off stage and see that Ellie is talking Jade. She looks at me and mouths, "I need you."

I keep singing and break the string of my guitar at the end of the song, on purpose. "Just hang on a second London," I say, smiling before I run off stage.

I grab the extra guitar and walk over to Ellie, stopping her.

"What's up?" I ask. "The baby is here Luke, I have to go," she tells me. "But what about the concert?" I ask. "I'm sorry, I have three more I can watch, you've got this," she says before leaving. I walk back on stage.
