Ansley's POV
"Ansley!" a voice behind me exclaims as I walk out of cheer practice.
"What's up Melanie?" I ask. "The end of season cheer sleepover is tonight! Don't forget, we only have one game left!"
"Of course, I'll be there," I promise. I'm missing one of my dad's performances for it. Uncle Ashton said he was disappointed, but dad said its my choice. And the sleepover is my choice.
I walk out the door and into my mum's car. "Get your stuff packed when you get home," she tells me. "Okay," I reply, glancing out the window the whole way home.

Ellie's POV
I walk upstairs and find Luke in the bathroom smothering shaving cream all over his face. I grab his razor and gently shave his stubble. I smile and kiss his beard free face.
"You ready for tonight?" I ask. He nods. "Tonight is the night for money for abused children, I am so pumped," he says, smiling.
"I just wish Ansley would have chosen to come with us," I sigh. He shrugs. "She'll see me perform plenty of times," he says. I know he is disappointed though, Ansley is his little girl.
"Goodbye daddy!" Ansley exclaims, running into the bathroom. She kisses both of us on the cheek before running outside into her friend's car.
He looks at me. "Well that was quick," he says. "Well, I guess that's Ansley, always on the move," I say.

Wes' POV
I put on a pair of khaki shorts and one of my dad's old Blink-182 shirts. He smiles when he was me wearing it when he comes in. "You look exactly like me at your age," he tells me, as he always says.
"I know," I say, smiling. "And its not a bad thing either," he jokes before leaving the room. I quiff up my hair. I do look exactly like my dad did.
I walk downstairs where they are both waiting. Mum is wearing a black dress and dad is wearing a muscle tank and jeans. I feel like my mum and dad will never fully grow up, they'll always just have some youngness to them.
We walk out the door and mum and dad both sit in the front of the car. I sit in the back. We stop at Uncle Ashton and Aunt Mia's house, where everyone else is waiting.
Uncle Ashton and Aunt Mia sit beside me, Uncle Calum and Uncle Michael climb in the backseat. Aunt Jaime and Aunt Lennie are not coming today.
Uncle Ashton doesn't even make an attempt to talk to me, which bothers me only slightly. I'm not his biggest fan recently I guess.
When we arrive, we get out of the car go to the stadium, all the fans are totally chill, so we don't have to fight to get into the building.
My dad and his band mates take out their guitars and mum, Aunt Mia, and I sit in the audience.
"How has football been going Wes?" Aunt Mia asks, "I have only been to one game this season, you know how Uncle Ashton is about football, totally clueless."
"Yeah, I know," I say, angrily almost, "And we have the champion game left, in two weeks."
"Believe me, I'll be there," she says, smiling, "And I'll force Uncle Ashton to come." Just then, the music starts and everyone cheers. I smile as I watch my dad start to sing.
He sings with such passion that it brings me happiness just watching him.

Ansley's POV
"They're so pretty!" Alana squeals as she finished my nails, which really look fantastic. She has been doing acrylics for all of us to that we match for the last game of the season.
"Spin the bottle!" Melanie exclaims, bringing in an empty bottle of beer. We all sit around it. "Truth or dare style," Gia adds.
The bottle lands on Bailey. "Truth or dare?" Melanie asks. "Dare," she says, smiling.
"Lick this beer bottle," Melanie says, "I found it in my basement." Bailey licks it, getting it done and over with.
After going through many many dares, funny and gross, before the bottle actually lands on me one.
"Truth or dare?" Haily asks. "Truth," I reply.
"Wuss!" Bethany exclaims. "Am not," I reply, "Flyers are not wusses." "Well, apparently some of them are," she snaps, making the others laugh. "I don't care, lay one on me," I reply.
"Okay, who do you like?" she asks.
Dammit.
"Uhmmm, no one," I reply. "Oh really?" Liana asks, raising a suspicious eyebrow, "I know that isn't true Ansley."
"No, she likes..." Bri starts, before Gia puts a hand over her mouth. "She has to say it," Gia says, smirking. This is torture.
"I like Mason," I spit out.
"The band nerd?" Bailey asks, laughing. "Yeah, shut up about it, at least he has more talent than fucking girls," I reply snappily, angry at her for being a bitch.
"Okay okay, we won't tell anyone," Melanie says, smiling. "You promise? All of you?" I ask. "We promise," they all says together. I trust them, though most people wouldn't.
