As I skateboard down my driveway, I am suddenly interrupted by the sound of something crashing onto the pavement, causing me to lose my balance and fall on the ground.

I yelp slightly as my back hits the ground and I shut my eyes as I grimace.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry!" I hear a voice exclaim. I open my eyes and look up at the beautiful sight in front of me.

There, I see a shirtless boy with curly brown hair and big brown eyes looking down at me. He puts out a hand and I gratefully take it. He lifts me off the ground.

"Ow," I say, wincing as I stand on my ankle. "Oh my God, it's bruised," he starts, "I'm sooooo sorry I just moved in next door and I was moving my drum equipment out of the truck and into my garage when the cymbal fell off of its stand and..."

"Hey, it's okay, I'm fine," I say, smiling, "Happens all the time. Well, not really..."

"I feel horrible," he says, shaking his head, "I'm such an idiot."

"Wait, so you're a drummer?" I ask. I got this image in my head of a perfect photograph, but I haven't been able to find a drummer to do it for me.

"Yeah," he says, smiling.  God, is his smile perfect.

"Could you be my subject?" I ask quickly.

"Your what?" he asks, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm a photographer," I say, "And I've had this idea for a while. You'd be perfect for it, please?"

"Okay," he says, smiling again, "And my name is Ashton, by the way."

"Cool," I reply, smiling back, "I'm Taylah. But you can just call me Tay."

"Nice," he says. "I have to get my equipment, I'll be back in a minute," I tell him before running to my room to get all of my photgraphy.

He smiles when I get to the garage.

"I called my mum and she said it was okay," he says, "As long as you aren't doing nudes."

"Why the hell would I do that?" I ask, "And you asked your mum for approval?"

"Don't swear, I dunno, and yes, I did," I replies. I laugh. "Well, let's get this started," I reply, setting up my camera. The light shines perfectly through the garage door as the sun is setting, and Ashton's bare chest shimmers with beads of sweat.

"Have your sticks down like you just finished playing and kind of look off into the distance dramatically," I tell him. "That's a lot to handle, but okay," he replies.

I shake my head when he tries. "No, look away a little more," I say. "Like this?" he jokes, turning his head fully around. I laugh really hard and he shrugs.  "Help me?" he asks, a look of innocence on his face.

I walk over to him and move his head slightly. He is looking at me with big eyes, and my face so close that I can lightly feel his breath on my collarbone.

"Like this?" he asks in a soft voice. I smile. "Just like that," I reply.

And before I can do anything, his lips are pressed firmly against mine.

I want to pull away, but at the same time, I really don't.

So I don't stop against my better judgement.

We eventually stop and he smiles. "You are so awesome, and so pretty," he says, "And your kiss..."  He takes a deep breath. I smile.

"Time to get that picture now that you know what to do," I say, walking toward my camera with a little more swagger than before.
