Chapter 31

Ellie's POV

I take Luke's car.  I figure he can ride with Michael, Ashton, or Calum.

It'll all work out somehow, I'm sure.

I drive as fast as I can without going over the speed limit to the hospital. As soon as I get there, I run through the parking lot, despite my pregnancy, and to the front desk.

"Bella Horan?" I ask. "Ellie Hemmings?" she asks, "Oh my God, I was a huge fan back..."

"I need to be in the room of Bella Horan," I say, slamming my hands on the desk.

"Okay okay, room 405, on the fourth floor," she says. "Thanks," I say before running into the elevator.

I am squished in the corner whilst waiting until we finally get to the fourth floor.

When we e finally get there, I force myself out of the elevator and walk over to room 405, where Niall is waiting for me. He sighs when he sees me.

"Oh Ellie," he says, hugging me. "What is it?" I ask. He smiles.

"It's a girl," he says, smiling. "Oh my God, what did you both decide to name her?" I ask.

"Madison Alayna Horan," he tells me, his eyes getting tear filled.

"You named her after Madison?" I ask, getting choked up. He nods. I hug him again.

"It was Bella's idea," he whispers as he wraps his arms around me, "She said it would be the right way to honor her since...We never really got too."

"Niall that's beautiful," I tell him. We let go. "You should see her," He says, smiling. He takes my hand and leads me into the door.

I go inside and there is Bella, holding the baby.

I smile. "You want to hold her?" Bella asks. I nod. She hands me the baby and I cradle it in my arms.

"Hi Madison," I whisper, smiling. She is adorable. She has the natural brown hair of both Bella and Niall and I can tell that she has Bella's big eyes.

The color, I do not know, it could be Bella's brown or Niall's blue.

"She is adorable," I say. "I know," Niall says, looking proud. "You both did it," I say, smiling. Before I know it, I'll be doing it too.

I hear a knock on the door and see the four boys back from their concert. "Let them in," Niall tells me. I hand him the baby and open the door.

"Hi," Ashton whispers as they all walk in. He takes one look at the baby and freaks.

"Oh em gee it's gorgeous!" he exclaims quietly. I smile and nod. I can't stop smiling. The look on all of their faces is priceless, except Luke. He is still shaking a little.

"Hey Lucas, in the hall?" I ask. He nods. We walk outside and shut the door behind us.

He instantly hugs me. "Oh my God," he whispers. "Did you do okay?" I ask. "I didn't fuck up," he says quietly, holding me a little closer. "Good, that's great," I tell him.

He looks at me. "Ellie, I didn't screw up," he says, smiling. "Yeah," I say, laughing a little bit.

"Boy, am I relieved, damn," he says. "You'll have to clean up that mouth of yours before the babies come," I tell him. "I will, we still have a month," he says, rolling his eyes.

"A month a week," I correct him, "Don't make it come any sooner than it has too. "  "I wouldn't dare," he says before kissing me, "I wouldn't skip a minute."

"Well, actually, the exact time that the babies are coming hasn't been determined," I say, smiling. He slaps my arm lightly. "Don't you even," he says, chuckling.

We walk back into the room and Luke gets to hold the baby. He holds it close to his chest and smiles.

I can tell that he'll be an outstanding father, just by the way he holds Madison and looks at her. With care and wonder.

I'm not worried at all.
