Where It Begun
Letting out a strangled cry, Beca rolled in her bed and reached out for her alarm that had blared Beyonce's "Lemonade" the minute the set time came, sitting up and rubbing her face of any speck.
It was time for school again...
So Beca did her morning routine, it was what she did everyday whether there was school or no school, she wakes up at 7, washes her face, brushes her teeth, gets in the shower,, shaves, dress up, goes down for breakfast and goes to do whatever she does when there's no school, all in the span of 1 hour and 10 minutes.
"Hey Becs!" Her older sister Sophia was cutting fruit for breakfast and Beca smirked at her.
"Since when did you decide to be this healthy?" Asked the brunette girl after getting a carton of milk and a banana from the fridge, sitting down on the counter across from the taller brunette.
"Since I started pooping black."
Beca cringed, grunting in disgust at her sister's answering grin.
"You drank Coke everyday like it was water."
"First of all, you don't have proof,"Her sister stopped chopping and pointed the very sharp knife at her as she said it,"And second of all, I was joking, though I poop black 'cause I had some iron supplements for my period." The girl when back to slicing.
"Stop talking about poop."
"Hehey! They're awake, that's great girls... Excited for first day?" Their dad, Anthony Mitchell, came rushing into the kitchen in his bicycle gear, smirking at them as their mother, Raleigh, and dog, Toto, followed.
Beca and Sophia grunted as their dad pulled each of them into a hug.
"Dad, you're freaking sweaty!" Sophia grunted, wiping the said sweat from her forearm as her dad laughed away.
"You girls take care okay... The money is by the door, your dad and I are leaving for Martha's birthday bash right away since it'll be a long drive and we don't wanna be on the road after dark... You behave." Their mom told them with a pointed look,"Eat your breakfast, Rebeca."
"Already did!" Beca called back as her mom left the kitchen.
Sophia smirked whilst she put her fruit inside a container, eating what's more left in the bowl,"Dude... Guess what?"
Beca's eyes narrowed when she heard the excited hint in Sophia's voice,"Please don't tell me you pierced your nipples."
Sophia looked slightly offended,"What's so wrong about that?"
"Oh my God! You did!?"
"No!" Sophia denied,"Bitch."
"Then what?"
The older girl lifted her shirt as she turned to show Beca her bare back and the girl gasp,"The one from my tail bone to the middle is the moon's phases and the one on top is Hades's staff."
"What is this Greek Mythology obssession?"
"In my defense, Rick Riodan writes his book quiet exquisitely." Sophia said as she straightened her white shirt again and turned to her sister.
