There was no escape.
Beca grunted. It was the seventeenth dress she had tried and God forbid she found anything appealing.
"That one is pretty," Her mom said from behind her, Beca giving her a disgruntled look through the mirror,"Ain't it, Sophia darlin'."
Sophia barely hummed her approval as she continued eating her 13th cookie.
"Mom, can we not do dresses." Beca grunted, turning to her mother who look slightly appalled,"Its not that they're bad, but I'm going solo... Dresses just seems to be... I dunno, for duos."
Her mother frowned before she grunted and called the dresser.
A moment later and Beca was clad in a very sexy pant suit, grinning at her own reflection.
"Much better." Beca muttered under her breath.
"Yeah... It does look better." Sophia said from behind her.
"Great!" Their mother exclaimed,"Come on, take that off and we're getting jewelry then we go home."
Beca got down the platform and approached her mom,"I think the necklace you gave me for Christmas is enough jewelry, Mom... You two go, I'll take our dresses home."
The older woman gave her daughter this motherly look that somehow said,'I can't really stop you, can I' before the woman held her by the shoulder and pulled her in, kissing her cheek,"Drive safe, yes?"
Beca nodded before following them to get the clothes before waving goodbye and heading home.
She agreed going to homecoming because she can't really resist Chloe's pouty face and Disney eyes as she pleaded for Beca to go. Despite really not wanting to see Chloe dance with her boyfriend, Beca hates disappointing Chloe.
Getting home, Beca grunted when she saw a gray car parked in front of their drive way and blocked the garage, so with a groan, she killed the engine, got out, took the clothes and went in the house, leaving her car by the sidewalk.
She knew for sure that her dad was in there somewhere. So putting the clothes over the couch, Beca went in search for him, but not calling out, one thing he hates is yelling in the house.
Turning to her mother's office where he usually browse books, Beca abruptly stopped and frowned. Giggling was coming from somewhere. Turning a corner, Beca listened more closely and it came from her dad's office, but the giggle wasn't her dad's.
Walking closer, Beca peeked through the ajar door and her eyes widened at what had come face to face with her.
Her dad was licking chocolate syrup all the way up at the woman's thigh, a grin on his face. Beca felt disgusted, her face contorting as she looked at the girl who looked just about her age and Beca had to stop herself from barging in.
Feeling neasuous, Beca left the hall and went to her room, slamming it shut before rushing to her water closet and barfed.
She didn't know what happened after that, but she found herself lying in bed face down and waking up to see Sophia already ready for Homecoming.
"Why the fuck are you still on your ass, get dressed!" She pulled Beca off the bed and pushed her to the bathroom.
Beca was still groggy, but when she realized that the sun was almost out of the horizon, the brunette panicked and quickly took a bath.
