It was almost sun rise when Beca returned to the apartment. Face pink from the cold and eyes heavy from being out all night.

She realize it was rude for not telling Chloe why she left, but she knew that she had to leave before a tear even spilled from her eyes.

She remembered all the times that she felt underserved. Chloe was a constant reminder of someone she doesn't deserve. It was like the universe was telling her thst she didn't deserve a family or even the woman she loves.

Going back to Barden will bring memories that will only make Beca feel like the world is against her again.

Opening the door the apartment, Beca felt the thud of hurried footsteps before she even saw Chloe's body crash against her, in a heap of a sobbing mess.

"Jesu - Chloe..." Beca's arms circled around the redhead's tiny frame, and based on the coffee maker that was on the coffee table, Chloe hadn't slept that night either.

"I thought you'll never come back," Chloe's voice was raw, combined with her emotions and lack of sleep, her voice cracked as she spoke,"Like - Like when you didn't come back to me 5 years ago." The redhead cried on her shoulder as Beca sat them down on the carpetted floor, her heads weaving through Chloe's red locks, softly cooing as the redhead shuddered in her arms.

"I'm sorry." Beca said, voice filled with sincerity,"I just needed to think..."

"We're not going." Chloe blurted, which then again, made Beca freeze on the spot,"If you don't want to, then we're not... My sister won't need me on her birthday."

And so Beca was reminded of Emily.

"I spent the whole night thinking, Chlo... At least let me tell my side." Beca teased but Chloe only held her tighter,"I'm not leaving you... again." She said honestly, leaning down to kiss the crown of Chloe's head,"And Sophie needs me." Beca looked up at the door that lead to Sophie's room,"I know that now. Its just Barden, and it'll just be for at least 3 days, I'll go wherever you are."

Finally pulling away to look Beca in the eye, Chloe sniffled as she looked up. Beca's eyes were red rimmed and so was Chloe's but Beca knew hers was because of lack of sleep.

"By why?" Chloe asked, why would Beca want to go through something she considered hell.

Beca barely smiled, taking Chloe's hand to hers and pulling them up before she circled her arms around Chloe's waist,"Because last night. I realized something."

Chloe looked at her with confusion in her eyes.

"I realized that there's no point on hiding the fact that I love you and that I'll do anything for you." Beca said with so much warmth and softness in her voice that Chloe had to stop herself from crying again.

Because she knew Beca would be broken hearted if she knew Chloe was still caged in a box of marriage to someone else.

"What?" Was all Chloe said, eyes now ffocused on Beca's lips.

And Beca smiled in amusement when she sae this,"I love you."

"Say it again." Chloe demanded a moment later as she arms tightened their hold on Beca's waist.

And Beca obliged,"I love you, Chloe Beale."

"Say it again." Chloe felt herself leaning closer to Beca as she watched the brunette's lips move.

"I love you, Chloe."

"Again."

"I love you, Chloe,"Beca just followed.

"Again."

"I love yo-" Chloe captured the brunette's lips before she could follow through the command, but Beca did not complain one bit.

She'd go through hell and do it again if it was for Chloe. She swears.

Even if Barden was a place of bad memories to Beca, Chloe will be there. And out of everything, Chloe was the only thing that could ever make her go back to Barden.
