It took five days for then to get ready to go back to Barden. It mostly consist of Beca being quiet during the day, then restless at night, Chloe stressing over flights from New York to Atlanta, calling Sophie's school, getting Aubrey to go with them and worrying over Beca.
The night before they had to leave New York was when Beca sat up in the middle of the night and rubbed her face in frustration.
Chloe barely had any sleep either. Afraid that Beca may bolt. Knowing the girl is more than worried to get her memories of bad days back than being in the place.
"I can cancel the flight." Chloe stated as she turned on her side to face Beca, startled at the fact that Chloe caught her.
"No..." Beca pulled a deep breath,"I can handle this, its just a place."
"I place you left because it held so much memories you'd rather forget." The redhead pushed herself to seat up as well, taking Beca's hand in hers,"Its rather selfish of me to ask you to come, I can just go alone with Sophie and-"
"No," Beca interjected, an angry frown settling on her face before it softened and her eyes became vulnerable,"I... I can't keep running away from things that I should face."
"Bec--" Chloe paused as Beca turned to look at her.
"I ran from you, because I can't handle rejection, I ran from the place because I can't handle being alone. Then ended up completely alone in New York..." Beca sighed, defeated,"I have to go."
Chloe looked at her stormy blue eyes, staring at it intently as they stayed quiet. Leaning in, she dropped a peck on Beca's forehead and pulled her into an imbrace Beca didn't realized she needed. The smaller girl sagged in her arms and stayed there.
"Just come with me to visit mom." It was a quiet request, and Chloe realized that Beca never wanted to return because she still thought she was the reason her mother died.
Nodding as she held Beca against her chest, Chloe agreed.
"I will." She answered,"I will."

"Last bus to Barden! Get your tickets now!" The commentator on the speaker above their heads announce, making Beca grumble at it.
"Why are people so perky at 5 in the morning." She crossed her arms across her chest with a grumpy scowl, staring ahead as they waited for the bus to call on passengers.
"They're propably on drugs." Aubrey replied beside her, her face nonchalant as she neither hated nor liked mornings, it was just tiring.
"I haven't seen this part of town in ages, when I went to the airport, I hailed a cab." Chloe chirpped on the other side of Beca, the only one between the three of them who's haply in the morning.
She was holding a sleeping Sophie in her arms, unhinged by the noisy commentator on the speaker mostly because Beca gave the small girl her headphone and played soft music to keep her asleep.
"To all boarding the bus to Barden, please form a straight line here!" The driver of the bus announced after he got the qeau to leave the station.
"Well, that's a tad bit homophobic, don't you think." Beca commented as they stood up, taking Chloe's luggage from the redhead, making Chloe smile in appreciation.
Aubrey though, grunbled at the comment,"I swear, another gay joke and -"
"I can't possibly make a straight line... I'm too gay for that." Beca continued with a sarcastic smirk as Aubrey shot a glare at her over her shoulder, Beca barely gave her a triaumphant smile.
