A young man, with purple hair and dark grey ran across the beach as the sun rose. This was his morning routine. He loved the feeling of the rising sun on his face and the feel as the sand moved below. All this would have been perfect had he had a family to go home too.  20 year old Yuto lost his family in a boating accident 5 years ago and he's adamant the people behind it were mer-people. He remembered seeing them as he woke up in the very beach he was running down. They took his family. Everything thought he was insane but Yuto knows what he saw that day. It angered him to the core and since that day he has ran along this beach hoping to see them again.

He had to, for closure and know why they did it. Also, why he was spared. All these questions ran through Yuto's mind everyday. He panted coming to the end of his run. "Yuto, come in for breakfast," he looked up to the voice seeing his good friend Shay standing on the balcony of the house they shared.

"I'll be there in a moment," Yuto called back stretching as he faced the ocean. The breeze felt could against his sweaty skin. "Mom, dad, I wish you were here."

Yuto was a professional man working as a finical consultant in Leo Corporation. Today was just another weekly meeting although considering that the CEO Declan had an announcement for his next project. "My Akaba this is quite the budget, may I ask what project M is?" Yuto asked as he continued to read the notes.

Declan smiled, leaning on his elbows into the desk. "Project mermaid," He said quickly, catching Yuto's attention. "I wish to prove their existence and will stop at nothing! You must keep this project a secret."

Yuto nodded. "Understood sir," he said handing back the documents. Could he do it? Could Declan Akaba find a mermaid and prove their violent nature?

These questions ran though Yuto's head as he made his way up his drive way. His thoughts distracted however by the nose of birds coming from the beach. He stared down and saw a what appeared to be a young boy, washed up on the shore.

Yuto began to panic, dropping his suitcase and running for the naked boy. He shooed the birds away and knelt to the boy's side. He gentle rolled him over, there was breath but barely. "Shay get out here now!" He cried removing his jacket and placing it on the boy.

Who was this boy and why did he look familiar to Yuto? All he knew right now, was he needed to save his life.
