"Yuri looked really happy," Yuya sighed happily as he lay down on the bed. "I'm glad."

Yuto let out a small hum as he sat on the edge of the bed. The meeting wasn't about exposing himself with mermaid heritage but to let everyone know there's a way for humans and mermaids to be together. When Yuya mentioned Yuri, Yuto knew it was the right thing to invite them over and explain everything. As he was leaving Yugo couldn't let go of Yuto's hand, continuously thanking him for everything. They were invited to come around for dinner once Skip and Zuzu arrived so that no information was miscommunicated later on. "Seems like we have our own little community building up on land," Yuto joked laying down next to Yuya. "And soon, we can start a family."

Yuya blushed deeply. As a way to survive, male mermaids had developed female reproductive organs to enable to species to live. Though Yuya wasn't sure how this would affect him as a human he was still sure he would be able to carry a child. Yuto's child. "We still have to find our own home first," Yuya giggled trying to change the subject. "What type of home were you thinking?"

He thought about it for a moment. What type of home had Yuto imagined? "One with a big garden," He smiled coming to a conclusion. "And plenty of rooms, so we can have guests. I sound like such an idiot huh?"

Yuya shuck his head, turning onto his side to look Yuto in the face. "I like the sound of that," He hummed. "When do we start looking?"

"Once you become human, I think," Yuto said, trying to work a plan out in his head. "I think once we've settled you into your new life, we begin ours then."

Yuya nodded. He liked the sound of that, thought his next question was more embarrassing. He knew his human life was going to be fine however he wanted to know, "Yuto, if you can turn into a mermaid, will you mate with?"

Yuto's eye's widened in shock and confusion. "But we're already mated, right?"

Yuya's blush deepened. "I mean, mate with me as a mermaid," he whispered hiding his face in his lover's chest. "I want to know what it would be like and besides, it means you can experience something new too."

A blush now appeared on Yuto's face. Presuming he could turn, yes, the idea of mating with Yuya intrigued him however how would it be done? He imagined it would involve a lot of research but did anyone really know the biology of mermaids? "I - mean," He started to stutter his answer. With the words failing to come out, he simply nodded.  Yuya gave a small 'eep' of excitement and threw his arms around his lover. "This means a lot to you, huh?"

"Yeah," Yuya smirked, almost in a seductive way as he leant up. He licked his lips before planting them onto Yuto's. Yuto smirked into the kiss of he felt Yuya roll his hips.

The following morning when Yuto woke up he couldn't feel Yuya's presence in the bed. Still a bit dazed from his sleep Yuto sat up, searching the floor for some form of discarded bottoms. After successfully landing eyes on a pair he dressed his lower half, observing the time and concluded he should get coffee before getting cleaned up for work.

As he neared the kitchen, he could hear conversation. He recognised Yuya and Lulu's voice but not others. Opening the door, he saw Lulu and Yuya on the island, opposite a middle-aged looking man and a pink haired teenager. Excitedly Yuya looked to Yuto, ran over to him and pulled him towards the island. "Yuto, this is Skip and Zuzu," He introduced. "Guys this is Yuto, my mate and what's that word again?"

"Fiancé," Lulu laughed.

"Right, fiancé!" Yuya smiled widely.

Yuto bowed to the pair, "Thank you for coming."

"Thank you for having us," Skip smiled. "I must say, you certainly look like your farther." Every just stared at Skip. "Oh, yes I should mention. I was good friends with your farther years ago. In fact, I was the one who told him how to become human."

"Y-you were?" Yuto stuttered, getting teary eyed. "Sorry, it's just not knowing much about my parents' past-"

Yuto suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder, looking up he saw Skip trying to console him. "If you want to know anything then I'm here for you."

"I really appreciate this Skip," Yuto wiped his eyes, ridding himself of the tears.

"Now why don't you have breakfast?" Lulu asked, moving from the counter to the stove. "Let's get to know our guests a bit more."
