Everyone gathered that morning to say farewell to Yuya. Yuya held onto Yuto's hand tightly as they waited for Spike and Zuzu to arrive. "Everything will be okay," Yuto assured using his thumb to caress Yuya's hand. "You'll be back here before you know it."

Yuya blushed and threw himself into Yuto's chest. "I love you," he whispered. His lover kissed the top of his head and wrapped his free arm around him. "Yuto, I love you lots."

"I love you more Yuya," Yuto whispered back. 

"Hello there," the voice was loud and brash, looking down at the water Emi beamed. Skip and Zuzu had arrived earlier then expected. "We are here to escort young Yuya home."

Emi smiled as she turned to Yuya. "Come one little brother," she laughed as Yuya reluctantly let go of Yuto. "If you get lonely be sure to call me okay?"  Yuya hugged his sister tightly. "When it's your birthday I'll be sure to bring you back here."

Crimson eyes widened happily. He was going to come back the moment his birthday came? "Thanks sis," he cried happily. Emi kisses the top of his head. "Guess I should get going."

One last time, Yuya received a kiss from Yuto and hugs from everyone else. "I'll be back soon," he waved before jumping into the sea. Yuto ran to the edge and watched as Yuya's body was glowing under the water and suddenly a splash came from a ruby red tail. Beautiful.

And with that he was gone. Granted, it wouldn't be for long but he was still gone for the time being. Shay placed a hand on Yuto's shoulder. "He'll be living with us again in no time," he assured and then gave a wink. "This means in the meantime you can do some research." Yuto blushed as Shay poked his neck. "Oh Don't think I forgot about the whole, he asked me to make love to him deal and I noticed that lovely bite on his neck too."

Yuto's face deepened in colour as Shay continued to talk. In the end he had enough and elbowed Shay in the gut. Shay grunted and hit the floor, Lulu kneeling before him. Emi coughed to get Yuto's attention. Oh no, she heard. Yuto sighed as he followed her inside, ready to take whatever punishment she was ready to dish out. The two at the dining table, Yuto not looking up from the oak table. "Yuto it's okay I get it," Emi sighed. "I know about how humans mate but before you do that with my brother you need to be made aware."

"Aware of what?" Yuto looked up cocking an eyebrow.

"Well mermaids mate for life, unlike some humans," Emi continued. "So if you mate Yuya then I need to understand its real but also..."

There was a long pause before Emi continued. "Male mermaids can get pregnant."

Yuto's mouth fell open. "Wait what?" He exclaimed.

"It's an evolution development, you know so the species didn't die," Emi laughed nervously. "So all I ask is two things. Be sure it's real and be safe."

Yuto couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was getting the blessing from his lover's sister and now, Well now he was being told that Yuya could get pregnant if there were not careful.

Saturday soon came around and Yuto waited by the shore for his mermaid lover. He was nervous, not because it was Yuya but because it was Yuya in a form he didn't like still. The news of it all still sinking in. Suddenly he was brought out of his daydream when cold water splashed into his face. He looked down to see Yuya giggled. "Yuto," he called still making a splash.

Yuto looked closer and sass Yuya was using his tail to cause the splash. Yuto smiled as he carefully made his way down the rocks, finally reaching the bottom Yuya threw himself into Yuto's arms and gave him a salty kiss. Yuto felt the water soak into his clothes as Yuya held him tight. "That was a big kiss," he laughed as his young lover pulled away. Yuya smiled brightly. "It's only been 5 days."

"I missed Yuto," Yuya blushed. He moved himself so he could sit on the rock next to Yuto, his tail was a ruby red and shined as the sun hit it. He noticed how Yuto just stared at it and he giggled more. "You can touch it if you want."

Yuto blushed deeply as Yuya guided his hand. What was he doing? He gasped feeling the texture of Yuya's tail. It was smoother then he expected. "Well?" Yuya asked.

"It's beautiful," Yuto smiled. "Like you."

Yuya blushed as deep as his tail. "Yuto is just saying that," he giggled. "So is Yuto still mad at mermaids?"

Yuto thought for a moment. He shuck his head, "because of you and your sister, I'm starting to see mermaids in a new light."

"Good ," Yuya cheered. "Yuto shouldn't be mad, we only want to help humans and make them smile. So how was Yuto's week?"

Yuya tried to lighten the mood and that mde Yuto smile. He hummed for a moment before starting off, " Well Shay is working with Declan now."
