Shay, trying to distract himself, continued to work on the project before him. With the final sketches of the embassy needed before the end of the month, he needed to complete the work as soon as possible. However, his mind was not fully on his work and had not been for several weeks. During the few days Shay spent away from home he ended up in a scandal. One that involved Declan Akaba. A night of passion that was surely going to turn into a full-blown affair. The following weeks turned into secret meetings at Declan's apartment and "late shifts" so they two could continue what they started. "Damnit," Shay growled scrunching up his fifth piece of paper and throwing it behind him.

"Watch where you throw those things." Came a laugh from behind Shay. Glancing at the clock, noticing the time Shay turned to see the part time delivery boy Crow who had started just before he joined the company. Crow smirked as he took a seat next to Shay, "It's seven o'clock man, you should be leaving to see Lulu, right?"

Sighing Shay took the piece of paper back from Crow. "Dennis is with her tonight," He explained. "I have some work to finish up here. The deadline is looming, you know?"

"I know but Lulu needs you right now," Crow sighed. "Family is important."

"Yes, I know but I can't just abandon the project," Shay argued. "What will it take to get you off my back?"

"For you to go home." Crow punched Shay playfully in the arm. "Seriously, Lulu is fragile at this moment in time. Why don't you wrap up for a night and go buy food for the two of you? And Dennis of course."

Shay thought for a moment. Crow was right, he needed to go home. He got up, grabbing his designs so he could pass them onto Declan. He knocked on the office door before entering. Not like Declan got many visitors so all he was doing was going through idle paperwork. "Sorry they're late," Shay apologies as he placed the documents onto the desk. "I'll neaten them off tomorrow morning, just got to get back to Lulu."

Declan didn't speak, he merely stood up, walking around the desk. He pushed his body against Shay's, a hand either side of his waist, keeping him in place. "Do I not get a goodnight kiss?" He whispered against the dark-haired males' lips with lust. Shay gulped. When he worked late, he always ended up in a similar position with Declan but tonight he had to get back to Lulu. Declan, annoyed sensed this and pulled away. "Oh, I don't. Fine, give Lulu my best."

"Sorry," Shay whispered, embarrassed he rushed out of the building. Giving Crow a quick goodnight before leaving.

As he arrived back at the house, he was greeted with a pleasant surprise. Yuto and Yuya had come back from their small vacation, both almost looking like they had a glow in their faces. "Welcome home brother," Lulu welcomed as Shay took a seat next to her. Lulu giggled as she held up a box of candy to Shay. "Yuya insisted he bring back gifts. Try one."

Nodding, Shay took on of the wrapped confectionaries, removing the wrapper and tasting the sourness of the candy as it past his lips. "So, you guys had fun then huh?" he attempted to ask with a full mouth.

Yuya nodded, giggling like a school girl in love as he held onto Yuto's arm. "It was wonderful," He cheered.

"I would say perfect," Yuto blushed.

"Oh, I'm so happy for you both," Lulu sighed happily. "So, when will Yuya be living here again?" 

Yuya's pouted slightly. Truth was Emi was persistent Yuya live with her until the project was complete and Yuya was able to gain surface citizenship, something that was once in place years ago when a mermaid wanted to live on land. She also wanted Yuya to make a decision what to do with his life if he decided to remain human, what job would he take, would he go for an education? Such things made her worried that Yuya was still too young for a life on the surface. "It'll be a while yet Lulu," Yuto advised. "But hopefully it will all work out sooner rather than later."

To say he felt a bit jealous would be an understatement. While Shay was in an intimate relationship with his boss, it wasn't romantic so it was doomed to not go anywhere significant. "You've got a glow to you Yuto," He tried to hide his sadness.

"I do?" Yuto laughed nervously scratching the back of his head.

"Now that you mention it," Lulu mused. "You do look different."

Yuya giggled at Yuto's embarrassment. "Perhaps it's because I'm so in love," Yuto muttered happily, causing Yuya to blush.

It certainly seemed that Yuya and Yuto made the ideal couple. Lulu was expecting a baby and everyone else around them just seemed so in love. In reality Shay was jealous but regardless knew he would show his supports.
