The curtains of the hotel, with. Small slit between allowed the morning light from the sunrise to bask the bed the new lover's laid in. The first to wake was Yuto. As he opened his eyes, memories of the night before flooded into mind his. Finally, finally he had shown Yuya how much he loved him. Yuto dragged his hand down his lover's cheek and down his chest. Pushing the covers off his chest, Yuto raised an eye brow. There was something in Yuya's chest, just above where his heart would be. Yuya began to stir under the soft touches. "Good morning," he tried to speak correctly however it came out as a slur. He smiled widely at Yuto, wrapping his arms around his neck. "My mate."

Yuto let out a happy hum, giving Yuya a quick kiss and running a hand through the beautiful green locks. "Morning," he responded. "Say Yuya, whats this mark on your chest?"

Yuya blinked, looking down to his chest. Suddenly he burst out, letting out a happy 'eep' causing Yuto to fall back a bit. "It's my mate mark," Yuya sighed happily. The mark was in the shape of a small shell, it was a deep purple colour also. "They say these only appear if a mermaid mates with their true love." Yuto just stared, that wasn't something he had heard of before. "It means Yuto is  my true love."

A bit confused Yuto wasn't sure what to make of the situation. He was Yuya's true love? He felt his heart pound as Yuya climbed onto his lap hugging him tightly. He could feel his shoulder becoming wet so he held his young lover close, rubbing his back in a small circular motion. He knew Yuya wasn't sad, he's just over excited. "I'm so glad," Yuto whispered. "That you're my true love."

Yuya moves back slightly so Yuto could wipe his tears. He looked down to Yuto's chest and pouted, "where's you mark?"

"Yuya, humans don't get marks," Yuto explained causing Yuya to let out a huff and folder his arms in annoyance. Yuto sighed, even though Yuya has been on land for several months now, it was hard for him to still explain how humans live and compare how mermaids and humans do things differently. "Yuya, humans don't exactly get marks, when we promise our lives to each other we give rings instead." Yuya raised an eyebrow. Yuto laughed, moving Yuya to sit next to him so he could grab his phone. Yuya watch curiously as Yuto typed in 'wedding' and hundreds of pictures appears. "This Yuya, is what I suppose you would call the human mating ceremony. It's called a wedding. It's where two people promise in front of friends and family that they will love each other forever."

"A wedding?" Yuya repeated those words as he leant into Yuto's chest. He took the phone and began scrolling through the pictures. The buildings were grande, like the hotel they were in, the woman wore all white and everyone looked happy. "Will we have one?"

Yuto wrapped his arms around Yuya's waist and buried his head in The crook of his lover's neck.  "One day we well," he answered honestly. "I'm going to make you into a beautiful bride." Secretly Yuto would also like to see Yuya in a wedding dress. "One day Yuya, not only will you have your mark, you'll also have you ring."
