Their time away was coming to a close. The newly found young lovers were currently roaming around the town as Yuya had asked to go shopping. He wanted small gifts for people, just to show his appreciation for the things they had done for him. He held onto Yuto's hand tightly as they continued to walk. Occasionally they stopped to look in the shop windows, Yuya would admire the various toys and confectionary on display but then one store caught his eye. He ran over, letting go of Yuto's hand so he could get a good look at the inside. It was a jewellery store. Yuya's eyes widened at the sparkles of each bangle, set of earrings and even each ring. Rings? That was what Yuto said humans give each other. "Yuto," he called over. His lover walked up behind him, placing a hand on Yuya's waist and looking into the window. "Are these the type of rings humans give each other?"
Yuto nodded with a smile. He loved how Yuya was already thinking about rings. "Yes they are," he replied. "Beautiful, aren't they?" Yuya nodded, the tips of his fingers lightly grazing the window. "Not as beautiful as you baby."
Yuya giggled as Yuto kissed his cheek. The pair decided look inside, immediately drawn to the rings. Yuya hoovered over the glass box, staring at each of the individual rings. Some labelled 'engagement' some 'wedding' and a small section of 'eternity' rings. "May I help at all?" An elderly female clerk came over to the lovers, a loving smile of his face.
"How about we get your ring size?" Yuto asked Yuya who nodded.
The clerk leant underneath the desk, pulling out what seemed to be a large band of plain metal rings with letters on them. The clerk asked for Yuya's left hand, which he gave. She inspected the ring finger, humming to herself as she tired a couple of sizes in Yuya. All the time, Yuto was smiling inside and outside. His heart overfilling with love right now. While he intends to buy Yuya a ring, he's not going to buy it in front of Yuya. Rather the plan is to get his size now and before they leave sneak back to the store and buy Yuya the perfect engagement ring.
The clerk confirmed Yuya's ring, following it up with a tray of popular engagement rings, within a budget as per Yuto. Yuya inspected each ring closely until he came upon with three jewels, two emeralds that were either side of a ruby. The band was a wonderful silver with small wavy patterns engraved on it. Yuya's eyes widened, the ring was perfect.
Yuto smirked, giving a small kiss in his excitable lover's head. He advised Yuya to wait outside while he spoke to the clerk. "So how long before I the rig can be ready?" He asked nervously.
The clerk looked in the book, taking note of Yuya's size. "We're looking up to 12 weeks, if you want it engraved it could be longer," she advised.
While Yuto would love to engrave the ring, he figured he could do that later on. "I'll just order the ring please," Yuto advise getting out his wallet.
After paying the deposit and sneaking the receipt in his jacket pocket, he met Yuya back outside, who was staring at the near by park. He stared in awe as he watched the families play together. Yuto grabbed hold of Yuya's hand. He knew that one day, he and Yuya, they would have their own family, play in the park with their children and share many more adventures. This vacation showed him, that's what he wanted. He wanted to be a family with Yuya.
