Saphire heaved a deep heavy breath as she look at Matteo and Zaffiro's direction.
Nasa ibabaw ng natutulog na si Matteo ang anak habang mahigpit ang yakap niya at nakapulupot ang kamay sa leeg nito.
It's been a week already, at napansin nyang lalo pang naging mas malapit ang loob ng dalawa.
Not good....Not good at all.
Pero sino nga ba siya para alisin ang nakikita niyang kislap sa mga mata ni Zaffiro?
She never saw Zaffiro that happy, not until now.
Even though Zaff is still not talking to Matt, she can see that the two has this special connection already.
But she's still bothered.
Kung maaari ay ayaw niyang masyadong maattach si Zaffiro dito, baka masaktan lang din sya sa huli kapag umalis rin ito.
But no matter what happen, no matter how many people will leave. She knows that she will always stay and will do everything for the sake of her son.
Zaffiro is her happiness, that's why she's not regretting every single second of what happened, 5 years ago.
Maybe what happened before is a blessing in disguise for her to stop being alone for so long. God gave her strength to fight in a form of child.
She has Zaffiro now, God's loveliest gift she's ever had.
Hindi niya namalayang nagising na ang mag-ama at nakatulala parin pala sya, agad siyang nag iwas ng tingin sa mga ito.
I wonder what will be his reaction if he find outs...
She paused for a moment when she realized what is she thinking.
Hindi niya alam at nalilito din siya sa ano bang dapat gawin. Sa totoo lang ay takot na siyang sumugal pa at nakokonsensiya siya dahil alam niyang karapatan ng dalawa na malaman ang totoo.
'I don't know what to do and I'm really confused, guilty and afraid.'
She said at the back of her mind.
Siguro kakausapin nalang niya ang anak na huwag masyadong ilapit ang loob kay Matteo.
Specily that she's thinking about leaving this country again after staying on the Island. Sangayon ay inihahanda pa ni Ruby ang kanilang matutuluyan sa isang bansong muli nilang pagtataguan.
She is just cooling down the situation right now. Masyadong delikadong lumabas ng bansa ngayon dahil baka matunton pa sila ng mga taong naghahanap sakanila.
Because of Matteo, she don't think it's safe to stay either. Hindi niya alam kung kakayanin pa niyang patuloy na magsinungaling sa mga ito at makasama ang binata sa iisang bubong.
After a month she and Zaffiro will leave again, so she just have to endure it untill then.
Right now, it's what she thinks is best for her and her son.
Hindi rin niya maintindihan ang sarili, kung bakit ganito nalang ang epekto ni Matteo sakaniya.

Matteo greeted, Saphire just smiled at him.

She answered delightly.
Something has changed, Matteo said at the back of his mind while his heart couldn't stop beating really fast while looking at Saphire's beautiful face.
