Why?

When I woke up I was still in Eric's office.
I got up and stretched looking around.I didn't know how much time had passed and I didn't know where Eric was.
Being with a clear mind made me realize what I had done.
Not only I had put myself in danger but also my brother and maybe Tori.

I couldn't have done something though.Eric already knew,he just wanted the satisfaction of making me say it.
And if he was lying again.I was dead.
I must find out.

I slowly walked over his desk,looking around me to make sure it was safe even though I was completely alone.
I opened the computer and the first thing I saw was a file,named Erudite mission.
My stomach flipped but I clicked,dreading what I would find.

My face and information about me were first on the list and beside it was written
"Possible 100% Divergence".
Under me was Tris and some other people who didn't belong in Dauntless.
It was what Tori had told me.They needed someone who was 100% Divergent.And it was probably me.

I swallowed and with a shaky hand opened my file.
What I saw made me put a hand over my mouth in order not to scream.

Apparently Erudite had a very detailed program of the experiments they intended to do.They included electrocution,injection of different viruses and other stuff.
I felt tears streaming down my face and my legs felt too weak to keep me up.
I fell down and sobbed.

I knew Eric was cruel but this was something different.
I took long breaths and tried to calm myself down.I did not escape my father to be treated like a piece of meat.I was better than this.
I got up quickly,wiped the tears and closed the computer.

I heard footsteps outside so I got up and waited.
The devil himself walked in with a huge grin on his face.
Why Eric?
"You woke up?" he said and placed a kiss on my lips.
I nodded and smiled.
"I needed rest.Is everything okay?"

Eric nodded.
"Why don't we celebrate tonight?You want to come to my place for drinks?I want to apologize for what I've done."

I looked at him stunned by how easily he could fake his emotions.
But I found myself nodding.
I knew I would never let him touch me again.

Eric nodded satisfied and walked me to the dorms.

Tris and Christina were there giggling,oblivious to what was going on.
A part of me wanted to warn Tris but I knew she was safe here with Tobias.
Besides after what I planned to do tonight...I would be the only one they would try to find.

I felt an odd kind of peace inside me.I knew what I had to do and I would do it.Even if they caught me i would die the way I wanted.

"Hey Adelane want to grab some drinks tonight?"Christina asked hopefully.

"I am afraid I already have plans." I said and winked at both of them.

They laughed and I left them to take a long,much needed shower.

When I finished the dorms were empty.
Good.

I got dressed quickly and checked the time.In 30 minutes I was supposed to be at Eric's.

Ι wore a hoody and went straight were the cameras where.
I knew they had cameras everywhere even inside the appartments.I wouldn't let Eric slip so easily.
The halls were empty and I easily got inside the room without anyone noticing.

I walked over the computers and I searched last night videos.
I checked what I had in front of me and printed some stills of me and Eric in his office while he was touching me.
Then I searched for the second night we had sex before the incident with Peter.
I printed some more photos and after I collected them I walked out of the room pushing them inside the pockets of my jeans.

My next plan was to steal some red paint from the hairdressing department.
It was easy since they were all out partying.
I grabbed two tubes and headed towards the training room.
It was,as expected,empty.

I took the paint and wrote what I need on the walls and then I scattered the pictures around the room.
I looked around and sighed.
I needed to get out quickly.

I activated the alarm,took one last look and run away,not once turning around.
