We drove silently to who knew where.
Tobias looked concentrated lost in his own thoughts probably trying to realize what our next should be.
I couldn't really understand what was on Tris mind since I did not really know her that well.

I on the other side tried to see a way out of this.A way to come out of this alive.
I couldn't.I couldn't find a scenario where we would be okay.Nothing would ever be okay again.

As we past the streets I saw posters with our faces.
Wanted.

Other trucks were placed on the streets showing a video of Jeanine explaining why Divergents were dangerous and should be eliminated.
I felt tears stinging my eyes.
I felt like my whole existence was a big mistake.
Deep down I knew Divergents were not different.But when you have grew up with a certain point of view no matter how illogical it is it gets imprinted on you.Wheather you like it or not.

I glanced away from the window and noticed a pair of green eyes staring at me.
It was a girl.A very beautiful one.
She had long blonde hair,green eyes and full lips.
Through her shorts it was visible a tattoo of roses.

I don't remember ever seeing her again before but I guessed she must be important to be with the other leaders inside the trucks.
I couldn't understand why she was staring me so intensely.

Her eyes left me.She turned to Eric who was not paying attention to anything but rather looked lost too.

Her next move shocked me.
She took his hand in hers,rather harshly in a way for me to see it.
Eric turned his hand to look at her.He seemed a little annoyed but he didn't retrieve his hand.

I felt my heart sunk in my chest.I was beating so loud I could hear it.
The tears stung on the corners of my eyes but I forced myself to look away so I wouldn't cry.
My head started to hurt.

The truck finally stopped after what seemed like hours.
Eric and the other girl escorted us outside inside a building that I recognized as the Erudite building.
I felt my legs stopping on the own.

I couldn't do it.I was too scared.
Walking inside there meant I would never leave.It meant they were ready for me.

I turned my head to Eric.
"Please." I said with a shaky voice.

But he didn't care.
He simply pushed me to continue walking.

I had to continue walking.

I took to shaky breaths to calm myself.
"Control yourself." Eric whispered.

"I am scared." I said in the same tone.

"They won't kill you Adelane.They want to make experiments.Until the decide what to do you are safe."
I was surprised by his attempt to calm me.I prayed he was true.

We walked past a long,white corridor.Very different from what I had seen in Dauntless.

We finally reached a big wooden door.
Max pushed it open and we walked into a black room.

Inside there was Jeanine,wearing her usual formal atire,her hands placed behind her back.
A cold expression was on her face.

"Finally Miss Adelane,you have been quite a problem for a while."

Problem.That all I was anymore.

"Soldiers please I want you to use the devise on her.I want to see it myself."

It was like Tobias and Tris weren't even there.

A man came in front of me and held a strange machine.

The device made a weird noice.

"More then one results-please try on an individual."a robotic voice said.

My blood seemed to freeze in my veins.

"What is this?" Eric asked.

Jeanine's brows were knitted together in confusion.

"Maybe it stopped working?" Max asked.

My eyes never left the floor.I prayed for a miracle.

"It can't be..."Jeanine whispered but i could hear her.

"Try it on the others."Jeanine ordered.

The soldier placed the machine in front of Tobias.

"Divergence; 80 percent." the robotic voice said.

Jeanine ordered them to place it on Eric as well.

"Divergence;0 percent"

After that,silence filler the room.

Everyone except me and Jeanine was confused.

"She is pregnant."Jeanine finally said.

And hell broke loose.
