The ride back was quiet.Neither of us had anything to say to the other.Eric had already figured out how I had found out about the experiments.
I wondered what would happened to me and if it was actually better if I had stayed in Abnegation.
Even if I had never fallen in love with Eric,they would still get me.

When we reached Dauntless it was very late and all were asleep.
"What will happen to me now?"I dared ask.

Eric didn't turn to look at me.Instaid he put the motorbike away and ignored me.

"Eric." I spoke again.

"What?!" he yelled and stared back at me.
I've never seen so much hate in him.

"I don't know Adelane and I don't care.We will probably put you way until Erudite is ready for you." he said and started walking away.
I followed him.

"We need to speak." I said.

He turned again and this time slammed me on the wall,knocking the air out of me.

"What do you want?What else do you want Adelane?You made a fool of me in front of everyone with those pictures.You ruined my reputation.What do you want."

I couldn't quite believe him.I was about to be tortured and he cared about his reputation.

"Well you manipulated me and fucked me over not to mention lie to me and offer me away like a pig.So I think we are even." I hissed back.

Eric laughed and threw a punch on the wall behind me.
"You knew perfectly well everything about me.You were warned and you still chose to do what we did."

I didn't have an answer for him so I decided to drop it.

I followed Eric and he didn't bother to grab me in order to make sure I wouldn't escape.There was nowhere for me to go.
So I stayed close to him.

Eric,to my surprise,walked towards the cafeteria.
Max and the other leaders were waiting there.
Max didn't look amused but rather angry.I've never had any interaction with him,in fact I barely even saw him.
The other leaders,being younger looked impressed.
None of them had ever noticed me and they eyed me weirdly.

"This is what all the fuss is about."one of them said pointing a finger at me.

I clenched my fists to prevent myself from saying something back.I was already in a bad position.

Another started circling me like a predator.
"I don't know Nade.She looks pretty promising to me." he said.

I felt disgusted.

"That's enough." Max snapped.

"Why Max?Eric had his fun,maybe she has a thing for authority."his hand went to grab my butt but Eric pulled him back releasing an angry growl.

"Keep your hands to yourself Drake."

Drake,who was even bigger than Eric and a lot more tan laughed at Eric's reaction.

"Eric I want you to keep her in your room until we figure out what to do with her.Jeanine must never know about this."Max said.

"What will we say to the rest?We can't keep her locked forever.We don't know when the serum will be ready."Eric hissed.

"We have already thought about this.We will say you two fell in love,Arlyn thought you cheated on her and made all this to get revenge on you.Then you run to her because you love her and wanted to explain to her.We'll say we let you two stay together because she was a good initiate and we were sure you didn't help her get where she is."

I felt my blood boil at his words.All these lies that they wanted to feed them.They were so sure i'd play along.They were so wrong.

"My name is Adelane.And if you think I'll obey to anything you say you are so damn wrong." I spat at both Eric and the other leaders.

Drake walked towards me.
"If you do not care wheather you live ot die you will care about your sweet brother."

My mouth dropped but no words came.They were monsters.All of them.And I fell for the worst of them.

"Eric take her and she will go out twice to eat and interact for exactly two hours.Then you'll lock her in your room.Make sure she is never alone." Max said at last.

Eric nodded and grabbed my arm leading me away.
