Camila was sitting outside, cigarette in one hand and a beer in the other. A few weeks had passed since the whole mess with Lauren. The pale girl hadn't said a word to Camila. This made the chocolate eyed girl feel something inside that she couldn't quite explain.

This is what she wanted, right? For Lauren to shut the hell up for once and leave her unbothered. She was starting to think otherwise.

Camila's thoughts were interrupted when she heard the faint sound of the doorbell ringing through the large house. She turned around and saw as Normani walked in with Lauren at the door. The dark girl with a sympathetic smile on her face when she saw her broken best friend.

Camila took a hit from her cigarette and turned back around. It was dark out and late, she didn't know why Normani was here.

She shrugged and watched the thick smoke come out of her mouth. For the first time, she actually tries to think back before the accident. Before she lost her memory. Before losing the memory of Lauren.

"How are you doing, babe?" Normani gave Lauren a sad smile and kissed her best friend on the forehead.

"Mani, I don't know anymore." Lauren's voice came out raspier than it already was, making Normani frown.

"Have you been crying?" She asks. Lauren sighs and shakes her head.

"No, that's just how long I haven't talked for. You know, I'm starting to get used to this." Lauren admits while looking at her best friend in the eyes. Normani quickly grabs her hand and gets closer.

"Laur, don't say that. She will get better, okay? Don't give up. She's still there. She's still your Camila. Everything will be alright. The girl is just hurt as well and doesn't have anyone to help her get back up on her feet. You need to help her, Lauren. You need to help her even though it means getting yelled at and hated on, but you will know at the end that it was all worth it. Breaking each others hearts and having mean words thrown back and forth will make it all worth it, I swear. Because you guys will have each other again. You will see that it will happen so fast, ya won't even know i-" Normani's air was taken away when Lauren jumped to hug her, not even letting her finish the last word of her moving speech.

"You are the best and I love you." Lauren cried through her tears. Normani took a deep breath in and smiled gently, patting the broken girl's back, as she laid her head on her shoulder.

Goodbyes were said to each other a few hours ago and now Lauren was sitting on the steps of the stairs. She hadn't noticed that her eyes were half way closed and her head was tilting to the side.

"Wake up. You're in the way."

Lauren jumped up and was startled when Camila harshly pushed past her to go up the stairs. The green eyed girl turned around and saw as Camila kept on walking.

A few minutes passed before Lauren noticed it was getting late and she really needed to make up for the sleep she had been skipping for the past couple of weeks. Lauren stood up and cringed when she heard her knees pop loudly underneath her. Her eyes were swollen and tired.

She walked in the room and looked for Camila but saw that the bathroom door was shut close with steam coming from the crack at the bottom. Lauren cursed at herself silently because she really needed to brush her teeth before going to bed.

Thankfully, the door wasn't locked. Not learning from the scary movies Lauren has watched before in her life, she tried her best to open the door without making noise. The loud squeak was heard as soon as she opened the door.

"Fuck." Lauren hissed at herself.

"Get the hell out." Camila's voice boomed through the bathroom. She made a face and stepped out of the shower. Naked.

Lauren froze and watched how the wet drops of water were falling from Camila's beautiful, long soaked hair and onto her small but noticeable boobs, trailing down to her abs.

She actually almost regretted not doing anything with her the day she got so upset, but just thinking about it again made her stomach churn. Camila was so different that day. Well, she's different every day after the accident, but that day she was out of control.

"I said get the fuck out." Camila brought Lauren back to reality and wrapped herself in a towel.

Lauren jumped back a bit and walked out but not before getting her toothbrush so she could use it in the other bathroom.

She dreaded these nights after Camila's accident.
