It has been exactly two weeks, and Lauren still has not said those three words to Camila. Don't get her wrong, Lauren still loves the doe eyed girl dearly. Camila has her whole entire heart. The thing is Lauren doesn't feel right when she tells her that she loves her. It wasn't a lie. Or so she believes so. She just doesn't know what's going on.

She doesn't want to make it into anything because it doesn't mean anything. It shouldn't mean anything. Lauren felt guilty, certainly because her poor girlfriend had started to catch on.

"I love you, you know that, right?" Camila said, looking directly at Lauren and studying her expression.

Lauren smiled weaky, breaking eye contact with her girlfriend. Camila clenched her jaw and lowered her eyes, searching Lauren's eyes for answers that she so desperately needed.

"Hey," She said, and the green eyed girl hummed in response.

"Look at me." Camila said sternly, not letting her voice waver no matter how much it wanted to.

Lauren looked up, nervously, and looked into Camila's eyes. She saw how her usual happy shade of gold was gone and instead replaced with sadness.

Camila breathed out loudly and stood up quickly. Lauren shook her head and looked up, confused.

"What's wrong, Camila?"

The girl blew the bangs out of her eyes before replying:

"I don't know, Lauren. You tell me."

Lauren looked down, once again and bit her lip. Her head was feeling fuzzy, and her heart was having trouble beating.

"Fuck!" Camila yelled, as she kicked the seat she had been sitting in, down to the ground. Lauren stood up and stopped her actions when she saw Camila going for another other chair.

"I fucking knew it. I've fucked up so much that you don't love me anymore. I really am trying. I-I don't fucking know what you want me to do. Fuck!"

Lauren was surprised at the words coming out of her girlfriend's mouth.

"W-What are you talking about?" Lauren asked nervously, taking a step back. Camila turned to look at her and narrowed her eyes at her.

"Say it then."

"W-What?"

"Fucking say it then!" She spit out and got closer to Lauren.

Lauren jumped at her voice and Camila stopped. She ran her shaky hand through her hair and paced around the kitchen.

"I do love you, Camz." Lauren let out in a small voice. She let a tear roll down her cheek because it just didn't feel right.

She saw as Camila's heart broke even more because she knew, too.

Camila grabbed her keys from the counter and walked away towards the living room where the front door was at.

"Why do you always run away from problems, Camila?!" Lauren yelled out. Camila turned around and gave her a sad look.

"I'm not running, Lauren. You are." Her voice cracked.

This hit Lauren so hard, she hadn't felt the gentle kiss placed on her forehead, nor had she heard the door shut shorlty after. She looked over at the chair that Camila had kicked over only to find it neatly placed back. She let out a small, shaky sob and sat down.

This was too much. She didn't know exactly how she was feeling, and on top of that, she was worried that Camila had gone out to drink or worse. Lauren put a hand to her forehead and closed her eyes.

An hour later, Lauren heard the doorbell and quickly rushed to the door, hoping it was Camila. Her face dropped in disappointment when she saw her dark skinned best friend.

"Wow, don't be too excited to see me." The girl put on a sad face, jokingly. Lauren smiled and hugged her friend, engulfing her sweet smell.

"I decided to come over since Camila and Dinah went out." Normani explained, as she made herself at home.

Lauren closed the door and rose an eyebrow.

"She didn't tell you?" Normani asked, hestitantly. Lauren looked down and shook her head. Her best friend gave her a knowing look and sighed.

"What happened, Lo?"

"Honestly, I don't even know. It's not like I mean to. I ju-"

"Wait, you did something?" Normani interrupts in a shocked manner. It was always Camila the one messing up. Lauren stood quiet and shrugged.

"I don't think I want to talk about it." She said in a small voice and looked away. The dark skinned girl sighed but nodded.

"I understand, just don't push your feelings away."
