“Thanks so much again for this Fergus. I appreciate it.” Alice called back.

Fergus shook his head with a small smile that graced his lips then walked back into his garage as Alice walked away with her two suitcases in tow. They weren’t your average small suitcases and Alice was pulling them along as if they weighed nothing, she’d been pulling them around since she left home and they didn’t bother her anymore.

She walked down the street with a big smile on her face and people started to cast curious looks at her as she past, she looked completely out of place with her bright strawberry blonde hair and pale skin compared to the dark skin tones and dark hair colours but Alice didn’t care, she was here to explore and have some fun while making some money ofcourse.

She was nearly back at the bed and breakfast when a sleek black pickup truck pulled up beside her, it had the ghosting of white flames down the side where Alice stood and chrome rims that were so shiny they reflected off of the road beneath the trucks wheels. The passenger and backseat doors opened and Henry and Levi jumped out as the truck pulled away.

“We thought you might want some help with your stuff.” Henry said as they each took a case off of her.

“I was doing fine by myself.” Alice said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

“I’m sure you were but at least let a man help the lady.” Levi said as they started walking.

Alice shook her head and followed after them quickly so that they wouldn’t disappear on her with her things. She walked in-between both of them as they made their way back to the bed and breakfast, people still milled about the street like they had on the day Alice arrived and chatted with one another so easily that it could have been a crime.

Alice let her eyes drift across to the town squares market and watched as stall owners haggled and dealt with the people that passed by and wondered what the small market had to offer that drew so many people to it.

“We’ll take your things up to your room if you want to look around, mom has a spare key.” Henry offered.

“Really? Thank you.” Alice said.

She watched as Henry and Levi picked up her suitcases instead of pulling them along and then walked up the steps of the porch and went inside. She turned and started walking towards the market; she could feel the difference sizes of the cobble stones beneath her feet and the soft breeze that was blowing across her midsection that was exposed. She took a deep breath of fresh air and then let it out, she preferred the cleaner air compared to the compacted polluted mess of the big cities like New York and London.

Cars and trucks were parked all around the town square for the market; even though the market was small it was still filled with people but not too many that there was a huge crowd. As Alice walked through the market she saw a number of different stalls with vendors that called out to the people that passed by, there was a flower stall with freshly cut flowers, a green grocer that was selling bright red apples and a whole selection of different things, Alice found it hard to even comprehend the rest.

Alice stopped suddenly when she heard something though, it sounded like a beat. She looked around and saw a group of children just off of the town square, she smiled and jogged over to them to see what was going on. She reached up on her tip-toes to see over the heads of two teenagers that were in her way, the group in front of her was mainly made up of teenagers and little children and Alice noticed that they had some skills on them. She didn’t notice the song they were dancing too but when it came to an end the children that were in front of her saw she was there and moved away.

“You know you could use some work on your transitions from each of your moves but apart from that you’re a pretty good group of dancers.” Alice stated with her hands on her hips.
