Alice moved quickly and caught Sharlene’s hand before the slap could connect with her face and pushed her back. Lyric and Shanice surged forward as Sharlene lunged for Alice and they both fell to the floor, Dylan and Kat moved forward along with the rest of their group and Alice’s crew went to war.

Tom decided to take on Dylan while Jonathan started on one of the guys from Dylan and Kat’s crew, Shanice and Lyric meanwhile were taking on Kat who was taking on the two of them just fine. The crowd that surrounded them had surged forward and Alice was stuck on the floor with Sharlene trying to claw at her face, Alice could hear shouts around her and she momentarily looked up, giving Sharlene the chance to rake her long nails down Alice’s face, she yelled out and pushed Sharlene off of her as the right side of Alice’s face seared with a roaring pain.

Sharlene fell backwards off of Alice and Alice took the opportunity to stand up and moved her hair away from her face as she looked down at Sharlene who was rising to her feet, she smirked triumphantly at her and then disappeared into the crowd without giving Alice another chance to have a go at her.

Alice looked up to the railings of the second floor and found everyone still there, staring down at the scene in utter shock, all except for Rex and Reilly who were now nowhere to be seen. There were so many people from each group moving around and fighting that Alice couldn’t keep track, she decided to make it to Doug’s booth and figure out where to go from there.

She pushed through fighting pairs and jumped over brawlers that had ended up on the floor but it was when she was just mere seconds away from Doug’s booth that it happened. She didn’t even register it in her mind as she bumped into Dylan and Tom who were and nearly toppled over, Dylan didn’t even seem to think as he turned and swung out his fist. Alice dodged it and before she could even blink she heard a shout in anger and a body lunge at Dylan, sending them both into the crowd.

Alice looked after them as people gasped and found that it was in fact Rex who had gone after Dylan, one thing was for sure that Alice knew and it was that Rex looked beyond angry. Alice looked up again and now found Bud, Richie and Frank all gone from the balcony after they had seen Rex go after Dylan, Alice felt sorry for the man on the end result of Rex’s anger.

She moved quickly after nearly being knocked down by Dylan and climbed up to the safety of Doug’s booth as he watched the chaos unfold in front of him. Alice, without thinking, grabbed a hold of the microphone and brought it to her lips.

“That’s enough!” She yelled out.

It carried through the speakers and amplified through the room, everyone stilled as the fighting pairs shoved their opponents away and separated onto their respective sides, all except Rex and Dylan who were going at each other without any notice of the outside world, Alice sighed and watched as Rex overpowered Dylan and started pounding into him.

“Rex!” She screamed at him through the speakers.

He froze with his arm locked in place as it was about to pound into Dylan’s face, there was yelling as Bud, Frank and Richie burst through the crowd and moved quickly towards Rex who had resumed in pounding his fists into Dylan’s face.

They pulled him off of him as Rex put up a struggle and Reilly emerged from the crowd to relieve Bud of his temperamental son, Bud stepped back and let the three men wrestle to get him under control as they moved him away from Dylan and took him upstairs.

He stopped as he was passing Alice and he reached out to stroke her cheek in the lightest of touches, his knuckles were bleeding and his lip was split but his touch was like a feather on Alice’s fiery skin, she leant into the touch and met his eyes. She watched as he gained some control over the fury in the blue depths of his eyes and she then knew that he would be okay for now.
